EFS does not connect to the phone. Says "cant open serial port".

I reinstalled both drivers of the CD and tried all connection options in the phone (usb storage, pc-suite, etc) also tried under XP and Seven, phone on and also off.

What else can I do? Any suggestion ?

Btw I just instaled last firmware version (kp501at_v10k). May be LG removed this kind of access ?! Or this procedure does not work with KP501 ?

If I have choosed one of the themes, and i turn off my phone, and turn it on again, then there's just the viewty theme again! Can't you just select one, and then have it, if you turn it on again?

Second: there's this theme, it's called: 'viewty ultimate' and it's locked with a password, but it's not my personal password. Do you know that password?

basically you need to go onto theme list and change all of the numbers after the themes usually its location= 0 or something like that but you need to change the zeros to 1 if its the other way round the zeros are 1 then change the 1s to zero it should work so just edit that in every theme and it will work

omg thank you so much man...... u have no idea how happy i am now..... i did a another tutorial with someone else and it throw me off track and i was so lost.... i tried ur instructions the first time and it still didnt work caz i still had my themes folder and .SWF in the old tutorial way.. so i deleted the folder and put it back in the way u did it and redid everthing and double tabbed c and success..... note to everyone.... click on (more info) in text box and follow instructions of there. =]
