I practiced this with plain printer paper, which didn't work so well with the popping out. Then I tried it with card stock and it worked perfectly! My friend's gonna love this! Thanks so much!

Great technique - but with a card with such potential - why not treat the rest of the projects you demo with the same level of expertise as the folding/cutting - instead, you start to fizzle out and the rest is all tossed up to "time" and we get half-done results. Prepare ahead sample cards with lovely drawing, add some ribbon, etc. - so we can see how these cards reach the full potential. The dexterity for this card means the same person can probably draw as well. I'd luv to see this jazzy!
