I don't think electromagnetic field theory will explain the huge antenna effect these coils have. Btw, electromagnetic field theory is still theory and maybe there are things we learn through trial and error that theory will not allow. If you need rigid rules to follow that is fine, I am a rebel. As such I am likely to blow something up or misinterpret something, but at least I am fearless and will try anything without worrying about rules. Enjoy.

Hello, thanks for uploading. I think you should have focused the camera on certain components in your test setup long enough to prove to the naysayers that the components you said you're using are actually there and set up the way you said they are, so there would be less comments like the one(s) below. Also, if you want to continue these tests, you should learn more about electrodynamics. Pretty much everything shown here can be explained by electromagnetic field theory, except the end.

how was it wired when you got shocked? I am using only one coil and can pull spikes out of the coil with out being shocked. Keep up the good work. Peace Rawbush

Nice find OCD! The Rodin Coil keeps surprising me, as it always seems as I'm testing one thing I find three more things I want to test. Still wanting to get into real high voltage like you are, but I have noticed the coil's ability to 'pick up' stray voltage. I have a blue LED sitting on one of my coils, one wire going to earth ground and nothing else attached - the LED is lit, and stays lit. Free power!

If you have a metal roof add the positive voltage from it on the other coil. You will at least double your voltage. I have not done it yet because I am in sand and need a longer rod for ground.
