when ever i watch this scene all i can focus on is that dangling bit of skin on his Dunn's neck it completely steals the scene for me for some reason. also best line in the film "have you ever talked to a corpse its boring"
Now hold on. I've seen this movie about a million times but just realized; Does jack ask david to kill himself because.. he's bored, because talking to corpses is boring? Sure he said the curse must be lifted but damn he doesn't seem that worried about other people or doesn't seem to be in too much pain.
Brilliant film. My folks let me watch this when I was about 7. Scared the living piss out of me. After all these years, the SFX in this is still incredible. Rick Baker deserved that Oscar 100% for this film (he even named the werewolf "Oscar" because of the award). This scene where Jack comes back & sits on the bed with his throat bitten-out is dark humour at it's best. I keep staring at the little piece of wiggly flesh on his neck when he's talking!
when I saw this with my friend in the theatre, I was 10 yrs old and we had to leave we were so scared. yes we were pu55ies. I also saw david naughton at chiller theatre in nj and told him that and he said "that was the idea".
Jack dislikes this

I agree Shadow Phoenix, but Rob Bottin has brought us some extraordinary effects.
