every state needs to lift the laws on keeping dogs chained up. its not good enough for a dog just to have food water and shelter...they need to be dogs.... run freely roll around play snif dig there bones be in doors on the bed be with people
beagles one of the most chained breeds?? what I see from wikipedia´s information, it´s a dog that needs a owner that gives it lots of different activities, correct? especially outdoor-ones.
Thanks to the WONDERFUL help from DDB Reps a rescue organization will take Tuck, whose caretaker agreed to release him from the chain during your Virginia visit of the "Dognamic Duo" tour. Tuck will be going to "A Forever Home" in Chantilly, VA and will be fostered by Lisa Walthers, an AFH volunteer. Amy Hammer, a volunteer for Chains Hurt in Staunton, VA has offered to pick up Tuck from his caretaker in Iron Gate.
I've lived in a suburb of Chicago my whole life and before a co-worker showed me these videos I never knew people kept dogs chained. This has really opened my eyes. I hope we can change this for the better. Thank you for what you are doing. Can we get a show like this on TV? It would be so much more interesting than the reality shows we have and would actually do some good for the world.
My mom's (Dawn) is really good at talking with people because she always sees the good in everyone and feels that they can be better with a little help. She believes in what she doing with DDB and makes a lot of sacrifices to continue her work. Tammy is the same way, she makes sacrifices to do good. I have such respect for them both. -Michelle

That broken spirit thing breaks my heart. It IS unacceptable. I want to see hope regained in every broken-spirited dog there is.
