  • Would this work if you had a loose face powder and wanted to press it in a compact?

  • Thanks for the pressed vs loose eyeshadow swatches! That helped me decide to press all my loose eyeshadows. :D I love the pressed versions a loooot better.

  • can that medium work for powder foundations??

  • question...does that solution work for any brand of mineral eye shadow(s)?

  • @y3rlo i emailed raving beauty and asked if it works on matte eyeshadows and on MAC eyeshadows and she said that it works on virtually any eyeshadow so im assuming that means mineral eyeshadows aswell lol

  • @KiraleeStrange oh yeh awesome! thanks for finding out.

  • What is on your nails?

  • @disismaryii OPI done out in Deco

  • When you say the texture turns almost to like a cream shadow does this also imply that it will crease easier on your eye? Reason I ask is I really like how the colors look pressed and have 100+ loose colors I'm thinking of pressing but not too sure if I want to if they are more liable to crease.

  • @LunaStarFire i still use UDDP under it and its fine, you might see a little more creasing, but i haven't had any problems. good question though!

  • wow, pressing them made a huge difference! soooo gorgeous! loved the video :)

  • OMG! I want someeeeeee!

  • whats the purpose of pressing and non pressing?

  • @baybee4eva it just depends on your preference. Some people prefer using pressed shadows over loose. also, the texture and pigmentation can change. i like having both options =)

  • Nice job! i was wondering what the difference was in pigmentation .. wow! MAJOR! I was thinking.. " man all this work for what" ..but there really is a difference.

  • @Dxjx777 MAJOR is right! =) and its a lot of fun

  • The Venus Teal is soooo gorgeous!! I love it! I like the pressed ones better than the loose powder

  • @VolleyballStar1678 yea its crazy how pigmented and creamy they turn out!

  • are the pans the size of a mac shadow???? this was very helpful! thank you =)

  • @mellzbaybee Yes! they fit in a mac palette but i don't have room in mine so i stick them in the elf quads

  • @LePooke oh good =) i have soo many pigments that i never use because they are so messy! this will help them get used lol thank you again!

  • wow you are soo helpful!! i never knew you can DIY self press loose shadows!! too bad i dont have enough loose shadows otherwise i would love to try this!! :) i love your videos.

  • @lesecretdunange thanks for watching! yea its a lot of fun. if you want, check our raving beauty, she sells her full size shadows for only $5 =)

  • you got fucking skills LOL! I love it. I wouldnt have enough patience or skills to do this...

  • @baddestchinesechick haha its actually a lot of fun =) can get kinda messy but oh well

  • awesome and informative

  • @Beautyliciousxoxo1 no problemo! I should start putting that info in the description box, people always ask =)

  • how muh werwe the pigments?:)

  • @pinkbeautylover her full size shadows are only $5, great value for what you get and the quality is really nice too

  • do the pans fit in the elf elements compact ?

  • @papple11 yup! thats what I've been putting them in =)

  • using plain old rubbing alcohol instead of mixing medium is the same exact thing, and much cheaper. the higher the alcohol content the faster it dries

  • @sweetkeet126 i mentioned in the video that sometimes that method doesn't work for mineral shadows, sometimes they need more of a binding agent. I've pressed MAC pigments with just alcohol and its fine, but I've tried it with mineral eyeshadows and it doesn't hold together for long.

  • @LePooke oh ok :) i was just speaking from my own experience with mineral shadows, i guess all of them are different though

  • what's with the blank screen at the end? haha

  • @ohaiann oh how weird, i didn't even realize that was there

  • thanks for showing this to us! btw I love your nail color :)

  • @ohaiann thank you! its done out in Deco by OPI
