Mathematics is the study of abstract relationships between ideas; if you don't find those relationships appealing, then I can see why you dislike math. You may have read plato, but you haven't understood him. Plato discusses math with profound reverence as it, to him, not mearly represented abstraction, but reason, and nature, in general. Also, I was in a gifted program before I went to university. The gifted program requires an IQ of at least 130; mine's 134. Furthermore, you're using ideas that have absolutly no basis in any research whatsoever: 'left brain'ness' vs right brain'ness'.... THe majority of human activities
