in fact that video is not to show that cats can swimm, in fact some cats do. is to say that a cat can recover from a bad injury practising hydrotherapy, and that cats and all animals are strong enough. thsi video says they are worth to be taken care of.

Honestly I thought they were looping the same footage a few times of the cat trying to get out, just from different angles, I could be wrong. Ive had cats all my life, this cat is not in the distress people are making it out to be. Cats meow for many reasons, one could be due to strangers near him and not because hes in the water. A really distressed cat would not be swimming, hed be clawing up the lady and ears would be back, hed be hissing and fighting and hes clearly not doing that

To all the people who think it's cruel this cat doesn't like the water. For fucks sake, worst case scenario: several months to a year or two of him swimming and then his therapy ends. It's not like they're going to make him swim for the rest of his life regardless of whether or not he's getting any better. Sure, MAYBE he's uncomfortable, but he isn't in pain, he isn't drowning, and there's a chance he can walk normally again from doing this. Herp Derp.
