  • Peter, I understand your motive to have us look up and admire the beauty we miss at door view however, you give no credit to where you are in the Back Bay and the "ugly steets" reference really put me off. Maybe you should do the "Ugly Streets of Back Bay" next. This is not a flattering view of the "whole" of Back Bay. Good luck.

  • Mike, I'm not sure what you ae saying. My view is that automobiles and trucks make any area ugly at street level. Compare what we have now with old photographs of America in around the Victorian era. Tree lined streets with maybe just a couple wagons with horse, and maybe a single set of street car tracks down the middle. Simple and uncluttered. As an aside, regarding the Back Bay, I hope that soon a stop comes to the graffiti that is starting to be spread around that area.

  • I never thought I'd ever see graffitti getting a foothold in that area. In places it is starting to look like Allston. But then I never thought I'd see skateboarders ruining all existing stonework that they can get onto. They just keep chipping away.

  • My son lives on Boyleston Street. Pretty area but COLD winters.

  • We have two seasons - Winter and the 4th of July.

  • Very cool man! I really really like it!

  • Thanks. And we should thank George Gershwin also. He wrote the music.

  • Thanks. Boston really is a beautiful old city if one can overlook the bad stuff. All the vehicles make a place look ugly.
