Yo man did you have any problem installing those headlights? I was thinking of getting them but I'm kinda getting turned the other way because people say the HID in the halogen projectors like those sux or the light cutoff is bad.
BTW I thought 8k HIDs where more of a blueish tint then that? I was thinking of getting 6ks with those exact headlights
@Other7777 Yea I had purchased these headlights back in 2008 when they first came out and they were the worst installation process ever! Since then people have made Yotube videos on how to install them. I did add 8K hids but since the projectors are purple, it adds that purpleish tint to them. The cutoff isnt too bad but I love these lights. So glad I got them because in my eyes they are the best looking lights.
@rpo305 BTW how did you get the corners of your headlights flush with the body. Well stock ones don't fit exactly flush but only stick out like 1/8 of an inch.
Because I put mine in and cut the header panel and all of that other stuff and adjusted with a little and it still sticks out like an inch and a half.
@rpo305 Everything is great except the adjusting I need to do and the crack of light above the projector is kinda meh but it also kind looks like an eye brow
and also you didn't have to adjust the height right? because my output is great but I also think these come preset or something.
@MonstersOpD1ck Came stock. Its part of the SC/T package that used to come with GA's. It also included my spoiler. Notice its flat on the top and sharp on the ends. Google SC/T hood or check eBay. I believe you can snag them there.
ahahaha dude i figure it out on the HID lights problem on a Pontiac i figure it out on the relay it was soo clear to me the hole time i didn't see it and didn't need to pull relay at all all i did was connect my high beams headlights to the relay that leads to the hid and still have my DRl lights working still during the day and no SVS! damn lol letting u know about this just in case u want to go threw this set up
@rpo305 ehhh no mine a 2001 car with some Gm system Chrome blue box thingy with it and i also pull te Relay out it didn't solve nothing it made the hole leftside headlight it self go out! im like >.< damn computers! and now back to plan a again and try getting Led DRL from amazon and see how that goes to have hid in the car if fails then idk what to say no more :/

nice Car mine also black and i have hid but took them out because of the DRL lights i have and some reason im having problems! with the hids how u get ur system to work well with out having the svs comes on the dash?

@cheardkilla I bought mine from eBay some 3 years back, they are 8K hids shining through a purple halo projector so the colors vary but mainly a deep blue/light purple
Nice looking GAGT you got there. I have a 00 GAGT and its been a slow process to build it up. So far all my attention has been to the engine and stuff. Have done some cosmetic work going to do a lot more this summer. I like the gauges you got there. Question were the headlights just plug and play did you have to modify anything to make them fit? I was going to get some but a guy on a forum said i would have to cut out some of the plastic harness that it fits in. Good video very clean car ya got

Wow man, deff my favorite G.A. by far, I actually have a custom Explorer im trying to get rid of to get a Grand Am (GT of course), Ive watched most of your vids now, and damn, that things came along great!
I have simaler headlights on my Explorer, with the Halo's and LEDs, I also added an LED strip to them which looks insane.

Also, what are the lower housings for in the rear bumper? I thought they were reverse lights? Do they do anything?

@sonicxlc123 Just disable your DRL's by pulling the fuse to them. I believe its #22. Right under the hood on the upper drivers side

Wow man, deff my favorite G.A. by far, I actually have a custom Explorer im trying to get rid of to get a Grand Am (GT of course), Ive watched most of your vids now, and damn, that things came along great!
I have simaler headlights on my Explorer, with the Halo's and LEDs, I also added an LED strip to them which looks insane.
Hows that thing on gas?
Also, what are the lower housings for in the rear bumper? I thought they were reverse lights? Do they do anything?

i have the same year GA and was wanting those side mirrors but they say they was on for the later models. so did u have to do any modes to get them to fit

this is a pretty sweet car dude. i have a 99 se and my dad has a 03 gt. funny thing is we both have coupe's. there still fast cars. can do 110 easily in mine.

Hey man just wanted to say I absolutely love your grand am. I have a black, 2003 GT1 and I hope sometime in the future I can get mine to look like yours. I already got the windows tinted and 2 12" JLs in the trunk. I just need some LED tails and some halo headlights. Hopefully you can check my vids out of the car when I get them up

I have an 2003 Grand AM SE 3.4 V6...
I wish I could make mine look as tight as yours!
Also f*ck all those ppl talking about it not being a fast car. Speed is overrated anyway, and get's you in accidents nowadays. I live in houston, tx, and cops here will bust you for going 10 over. They are heartless. I been pulled over twice because of my license plate light not working.
