  • i can kill justin beaver with that :)

  • What a waste! Those mechanical pencils are the shit.

  • @therealhineja even if that story wasn't it's still funny as hell. Did they all have to wear ear plugs when they pried those suckers loose?

  • So how did you get them apart?

  • I hear if you swallow neodymium magnets a couple hours apart they will pinch you intestines together and eventually wear a hole through them....which mean you will probably die...

  • use a stones :) the same effect LOL !

  • do i want that?... Not sure if it's a good idea to buy some

  • Magnetic force + Gravitational force= enough force can break a pen. can you do it mid air?

  • thats a pen i think

  • I dare you to put your dick in darr

  • my foot can do more than that

  • thats a pen............ not a pencil

  • @sparkdatbong you never seen a mechanical pencil? O.o

  • @sparkdatbong its actually a mechanical pencil

  • Mind the fingers. haha

  • potential mouse trap.

  • Cheese n rice, how horrifying

  • I need some of those. I would be like Magneto!

  • did u try it on your penis ?

  • Try it with your finger.

  • Three words. Hard Drive magnets.

    Frickin awesome.

  • Magnets like it very much when they get deaccelerated that quickly... It even makes them stronger!!! NOOOT

  • @jasperbuesch

    ok Bill Nye

  • @jasperbuesch I think the term you are looking for is decelerated, not deAccelerated. Just fyi

  • @jasperbuesch I think the term you are looking for is decelerated, not deaccelerated. Just so you know. Don't worry about it too much, it's a common mistake. :)

  • how do you pull them apart?

  • Eerrrrrrrm..... SAW! *evil laugh* i have an idea for you............. MWA HAHA ANOTHER TORTURE WEAPON FOR SAW!!

  • @DriftKingDougal nice! :)lol

  • I THOUGHT IT WAS PENCIL, BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY A BALLPOINT PEN

  • @rhenz0404 um actually that's called a mechanical pencil. you push the eraser and graphite comes out the end allowing you to write. when you run out you can put more graphite in

  • Is this a magnet for an electro tunnelling microscope?

  • ITS A PEN DUMBASS

  • Would love to see this filmed on one of those phanatom cameras...

  • The strongest ones can go through your skull

  • Fingers? Challenge accepted :/

  • i was playing with 2 i found in a hard drive and i accidentaly got my finger between them. thankfully they wernt that big and i had time to get my finger out before it got to the point i had to go to the hospital. these magnets arent a joke. learned my lesson

  • can ur headphones do that and crush your head?

  • hello

    MTECH COMPUTER

  • Imagine if that pencil was your finger? Eeeegghhhh!!!!! XD

  • woa...

  • oh yeah smashes a flimsy hollow piece of plastic crap how bout a wood one?

  • @evan5068 A magnet that size could snap your finger >.>

  • @evan5068 how about you put your finger in there.

  • you can get magnets even more powerful than this at unitednuclear

  • in this video: fat man gets out of breath lifting small magnet

  • those magnets have commando

  • Riyaey1010 im sorry but i only have an iphone

  • that pencil, could be your dick. very painful death

  • add that music. "tun, tududududun tududududun.." :D evil neodim magnets! run!

  • sounded like he was masturbating whilst recording that shit lool !!

  • Well you let it go, if you just put it gently nothing would happen

  • Hope this didn't come from a college education...

  • wats with the heavy breathing :/

  • Ask a mormon why the pencil breaks

  • ¿ y qué es lo interesante ?'???

  • '

why this video flip backward word

  • you say pencil in the title and its a pen

  • @J4K8123Productions its one of those ''clicky'' pencils...

  • *Gasp* There's something on your pen's face! It was pain!

  • what a waste of a beatiful pencil... ._.

  • that is so fake....

cause thats not a pencil, its a mechanical pencil....

  • @germino777 Are you dumb? It's still a pencil....

  • When conducting experiments like this with highly magnetic materials, be sure that the table is not at crotch height...

  • New diet: Take a magnet put on belly + another on back. flat tummy :)

  • now just put your balls in between the 2 of them

  • @95blasterRider that really hurts =[, i tried to remove them using pliers, only forgetting they were made of metal =/ i had magnets and pliers attached to my ballsack for around ten minutes, it seemed like a lifetime. i am now free and will never attempt this again =]

  • @95blasterRider Knew a guy in boarding school, who got super drunk this one time, and put a couple of neodymium magnets in his cojones. He had to go to the nurse, and explain it to her. 20 minutes later he's in the ER, the Doctor on call walks in, explains it to him. The doctor walks out, facepalms for about a minute, then they get to work separating the magnets from his testicles. From that day forth, Frank was eternally known as Magneto.

  • @therealhineja thats an awesome story

  • @therealhineja HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @therealhineja aHAHHAHAHHA

  • @therealhineja megalol!!!

  • And his cojones?

  • @therealhineja holy shit

  • @therealhineja Magneto ?

    Hahahaha oh wow.

  • @therealhineja bust F*cking story ever!!!

  • @therealhineja well this one time at band camp...

  • @95blasterRider you read his mind!!!

  • @95blasterRider aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • @95blasterRider now THAT would ruin someone's weekend! lol

  • Poor pencil TwT"

  • That's a nice workbench, I have one similar at home.

  • So many nice torture devices you can make with those magnets ... Mmmmmmm ;)

  • Where can i get those kind of magnets???

  • if chuck norris were to put his wiener in there, the magnets would vaporize

  • @lactjf is chuck noris ur biological dad??? or ur momzzzzz pimp????? wht option would u like have in ur life time achievemt????

  • Neodymium magnets are incredibly dangerous those could crush your fingers no problem.

  • That's not real, because the equation for magnets, does not allow it to destroy things.

  • @philsnk wth ?

  • @cptIdiot The magnet force is related to the magnetic equation between the possible amount of power two things can exert upon each other through magnetism. If the goal was to exert a force stronger than the amount necessary to ask two magnets to attract together, then that will destroy the atoms in either one of the magnets as they approach each other. Without the pencil the magnets would break one of both of each other. That is not magnetism.

  • @philsnk but it obviously can destroy things between them.

  • Looks more like a pen to me...

  • @1Oberoth "What, do you live under a rock" That's a pencil. You know........ a "Mechanical" pencil?

  • I dare someone to dip a pencil into liquid nitrogen and smash it with the magnets.

  • Cool looks like fun !!!

  • Powered by Black&Decker workmate beches :D

  • What is the pull force of those magnets?

  • I can do this without magnets. I put the pencil on a rock, take another rock, hold it over the pencil and then let it go. The rock gets attracted to the first rock, moves towards it and smashes the pencil.

  • @drav1dan

    different types of energy!

  • @MattyHild: Actually, the same energy causes the pencil to be smashed - kinetic energy. The difference is the source of the kinetic energy, magnetic field vs gravitational field.

  • @drav1dan

I'd disagree. Potential energy was the original cause of the kinetic energy for the rock, while magnetic was for the other experiment. Not to mention they're different fundamental forces.

  • @MattyHild: It was not the magnetic or gravitational fields that smashed the pencil. The pencil would have sat around in the magnetic or gravitational fields unsmashed for years if there were no moving object to smash it. So, the fields themselves did not smash the pencil. It was the kinetic energy that smashed it in both cases.

  • @drav1dan

yeah.. but the original cause of the kinetic energy is different is what i'm trying to say.

  • @MattyHild In both cases it's potential energy in the beginning, and finally it's kinetic energy that mangles the pen/pencil. One must focus on the point of impact to determine the relevant energy.

  • @drav1dan LMFAO!

  • @drav1dan LMAO

  • @drav1dan But are the rocks as shiny?

  • @Cestdesconneries: You can use shiny rocks - polished granite or marble - if you want to.

  • @drav1dan You're right, i'm sold. Can i use my counter? It's big and already polished :D

  • @drav1dan Yes, that's called gravity, but now with the magnets you have both gravity and magnetic force.

  • @Nomoreidsleft: No, you don't have both magnetism & gravity smashing the pencil, not with the way the magnets were used in the video. Anyway you need only gravity to smash the pencil, you don't really need magnetism.

  • @drav1dan Before you comment about things you don't understand think or try the experiment. You will find that if you use the same weight, you will need to lift the weight higher to smash the pen than if both top and bottom weights are magnetized. This is because the force of magnetism is added to the force of gravity. You may also find that the pen may not be smashed at all with gravity alone because the impact force is not high enough to crack the plastic.

  • @Nomoreidsleft: Before you post, you should learn some basic physics. Both magents are horizontal in this video. So, gravity did not add to magnetism in this case. Regardless of gravity or magnetism, the object(s) striking the pencil must have enough momentum to smash it. Use a heavier rock or drop it from a greater height.

The energy to mine, extract neodymium & make magnets is a lot more than the energy to raise a rock heavy enough & high enough.

None of your points make any sense at all.

  • @drav1dan Huh?! You must be from a different universe from me. Since in my universe gravity usually acts from up to down. If it were sideways, the pen would not stick to the bottom magnet. So yes, it's gravity and magnetism acting together. The energy to mine the neodymium has nothing to do with this demonstration, since the only potential energy being release is that stored in lifting the magnet against gravity and magnetic field. I didn't know YouTube was transuniversal.

  • @Nomoreidsleft: Sorry, my bad. I should have watched the video again. I watched it long back & remembered it wrong; I thought the magnets were placed side by side.

That only reinforces my original post. You don't need magnets to smash pencils, just use rocks; cheaper & uses less energy overall. No need for magnetism + gravity, gravity alone will do. We need to consider the energy to set up the magnetic field, not just the energy to raise the Objects, otherwise it is a meaningless comparison.

  • @drav1dan True, this demonstration would have been more striking were the magnets acting perpendicular to gravity. Such would have eliminated the controversy ;)

  • @drav1dan I won't work with rocks having the same size, I can assure you that!

  • @drav1dan there must be some women out there who can make you so hard that if you swapped the pencil and put your dick instead, the magnets would still not be able to smash it.

  • @Griesmayer: It is very hard for me to think about magnets when I am with women who make me hard ;)

  • @drav1dan Yeah, but rocks smash everything, magnets don't.

  • @drewkeener So whos gonna win rock , magnet or the old school challenger Magnetite! He is half rock and half magnet. place your bets now!!!

  • @drav1dan i don't even need a rock xD

  • @drav1dan Rocks that small? Show us with a video response or continue sounding like an idiot!!

  • @steve42lawson

Why so serious? It was a funny joke.. Laugh a little.

  • @steve42lawson: I did not say how large or small the rocks should be. Read my posts before you post or you will reveal to everyone that you are an idiot.

  • @drav1dan Exactly the point my cagey friend! :D

  • @drav1dan LOOOL

  • @drav1dan Fuckin' Miracles

  • @drav1dan tell me about all the cojones you enjoy...

  • @drav1dan Magnetic rocks ? ;-) Are you a magician ?

  • If you notice, the camera is trying to comprehend what just happened

  • DAMN NIGGA

  • @halloforigin Yes i know it is real but he edited from when the magnet left his hand to the contact of the pen. I know that in real life this would really happen. im just saying he Edited it. ITS still real though.

  • @Darrin1997 It may seem like he edited the video, but these magnets are so strong that they actually cause the camera to unfocus.

  • @Darrin1997 Then to properly communicate you need distinguish between things like "what it is" and "how it appears". The proper way of saying it would be: "This appeared kinda Fake" or "This seemed kinda fake, even though I'm sure it wasn't" When you write, hear, in your mind, how it will sound to those reading it. Remember that your audience isn't in your head, so they don't know what you're thinking and they don't know what you know or don't know. You need to fill in the blanks. ;)

  • But....That's not a pencil you know....

  • You know what This is kinda Fake in a sense. If you look at his hand as he drops the magnet his hand disappears with out showing sighs of it leaving the Frame.

  • @Darrin1997

It's because 1. Those magnets are damn heavy

    2. The magnet is being pulled. It increases weight. Therefore he must pull harded. Therefore when he releases it suddenly, his arm will go up. Simple as shit.

  • @Th4w haha no........................... know your physics terms before posting "smarty" comments. but at least you got the basic idea :) hi 5 to you. btdubs, "he must pull harded" doesn't make sense

  • @Darrin1997 Have you ever played with neodymium magnets? Have you ever been pinched by them when they snap together unexpectedly? If you had, you wouldn't be calling foul. :)))))) [see, I'm...smiling...{gasp}]

  • i could tell that the magnets were screwing with the camera's focus a tiny bit.

  • i could tell that the magnets were screwing with the camera's focus a tiny bit.

  • (CRUNCH!) ow my dick! lol

  • NEED

    TO

    GET

  • But whill it blend???

  • @hidde50 no itll probably stick to the blades and send the blender flying towards your face

  • And now with your fingers! xD

  • nice nutcracker

  • a quad size will make this whit ur head!!!

    they are cheaper then guns;))

  • now make coal into diamonds :)

  • that's not even a pencil

  • @McBlaise Its a mechanical pencil.

  • We obviously need the Federal Department of Magnets to protect us from this danger.

  • Guys! I found a new way to play snake! Hold left arrow keys for a bit and then press up and you can play :P Enjoy Playing!

  • how do you seperate them??? two cars two ropes?

  • @Briansantiago11 The only way to separate neodymium magnets is to slide them apart. Still difficult and dangerous.

  • how about your finger?

  • Just put one of those in each pocket...

  • these magnets are ridiculously powerful why do you not have any safety gear on that is industrial grade neodymium magnets

  • Wow pencils have evolved since i was a kid.

  • thats a pen

  • @MrPlipip thats a retard

  • @MrPlipip no it's a mechanical pencil!

  • Luke...I will smash your pencil..

  • @7777dmith7777 Nooooo... it's a pen. No, Luke...search your feelings...you know its a pencil!

  • try your penis

  • um ... trust me if those where neodymium you would not get em to seperate

  • @Bjo15 It depends on the pull force. I have neodymium magnets with 154.4 pounds of pull force if you use vice grips or you do the cutting board trick (when there together hang them off the edge of a cutting board they push it off with another cutting board) you can get them apart.

  • Come on! What a Fake!!!... a camera trick...

  • LOL my rustler vxl (brushless rc car) the brushless motor uses neodyneon magnents and it was pulling my hand everywhere

  • That's a pen. Dipshit.

  • @SparklyRedDrop it's pencil.... mechanical pencil, see the eraser???

  • @SparklyRedDrop Wow, its a bic macanical pencil go to the fricking staples or something.

  • @SparklyRedDrop You see, kids? This is why you stay in school.

  • ...Why so much penis talk?

  • put your penes there.... hahaha
