  • It's great to see that this brilliant song is still going strong, and very cool that Ludacris is showin' his love!

  • make this a sport shit it be a hit i love it

  • At 1:30 and @ 2:40 best booty

  • ole e been doing his thang for southwest GA, yall need to scoop that his album and mixtapes. f.y.i. he produced the whole field mobb first c.d. and some songs on the other album.

  • What is also amazing is how participatory the whole song is, it asks people to send videos of them with one simple question, "How many hits can I get if I put your booty on my you tube?" And people do it, and at the end they tell you where you can send the videos, making it very easy to do so.

  • 3) It samples Bob Marley, the most iconic reggae singer on all time. Everyone loves Bob Marley, anda lot can identify with him. Which in turn makes it more participatory, because people already like the song, they just don't know why. The fourth reason is...booty. This song got 700,00 hits, Ludacris called them and congradulated them, and these guys came from literally nowhere. The article touches on these four ideas and they are embodied in the video, and its impressively successful.

  • What Bob Marley song was that sampled from?

  • Okay, so I picked this video out because, after reading Common Culture Ch. 3, aesthetically this is the best video to describe pop culture and its activity on you tube. 4 main reasons: 1) In a heavily symbolic culture that we have where we are constantly creating slang, it adapts you tube into that culture with the lyrics, "how many hits do I get..."2) As the chapter suggests, its black music so it magically makes it a authentic and somewhat more in the pop genre.

  • When part 2 coming out this video is from last year but still I can't help but watch I'm obessed too man

  • man this shit is hot as fuck, cant wait for part two! how bout a fruity pack video? definitly should be the next thing you do...
