No, we're not really hardcore now. We're old school gamers if you will. I grew up playing everything from pong to atari 2600 to colecovision to commodore 64 to sega master system, NES, etc.

Nowadays, I don't have much time for gaming, so I just really have a Wii and a PS2. I mostly play Mario Kart and Rock Band on the Wii. I only really play DDR on the PS2. I think I may have given away all of my other PS2 games.

I have always been a DDR fan. I used to play every time I saw it in the arcade (which granted, was kind of uncommon). We actually made the dance remix of the song hoping to pitch it for DDR because we love DDR. Then, when we saw the contest, we entered. I should also add that I am not very good at DDR.

About it being preferred, that's what I've been getting from my friends too...

I was seriously disappointed by the other one (actually was sorta mad compared to other past winners) but it's good to hear the original version. I really really like this and it got a favorite from me.

Glad you like this one. The dance mix was a thing that we did just for fun as a bonus track. We're quite happy with it and proud of it, but it's a departure from our music. Still, we thought it would make a fun song for DDR (I'm only a casual player though, so I can only judge based on that), which is why we entered the contest. We're quite excited to be part of the game and we do hope people end up having fun with it. They did a nice job editing it and we're really looking forward to it.
