6:06 - 6:46 for the limited resources they have considering that this is not on the same level of quality as Disney or Warner Bros. they compensated it for an exceptional ending.
Andy Panda recebeu prêmios de Oscar nos episódios Peixe Frito Fish Fry e no episódio Trechos Musicais de Chopin Musical Moments from Chopin(da série Miniaturas Musicais-junto com o Pica-Pau).
Like Porky Pig and Mickey Mouse, Andy Panda was one of those pleasant, innocent 1930's characters who just couldn't hold their own against the 1940's loonies. He's such a simp that he sticks his face out WAITING to be kicked at 3:52!
I think it was revolting and wrong to show the fish dead and boiling in hot water at the start of the cartoon!! Especially- when he doesn't even die at the end!! How very grim.
It's kind of like how the Coyote always has enough money to buy Road Runner catching gadgets from ACME and why does he just use the money to buy a hamburger?
America, land of the biased. and for the record, pandas aren't japanese animals, they are chinese animals, but our country can't tell the difference. This is uncalled for.
@Jophie12 I can tell the difference, which is why Kung Fu Panda makes no sense to me. Isn't Kung Fu a Japanese concept? So why make a Chinese animal a practitioner of a Japanese concept?
Originally released in June 1944, and nominated for an Academy Award. When the cat screams, "I MADE IT!" at the end, 'baxter', he meant he managed to hotfoot it away from the dog without any further obstacles in his way. Of course, by then, the poor cat was out of his mind, and beat himself up while TELLING him so!

Note that no matter how much the cat drinks from the bowl , the water level never drops....
Also, between the scenes of Andy pulling the empty bowl off his head and rescuing the fish from the cat, where did the fresh water come from?

I'm glad to see Universal's Walter Lantz cartoons look like Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes cartoons.
The first time I saw this, I thought it was a Warner Bros. cartoon with a misprint at the beginning regarding the company.

some of the artists crossed over a few times. they also stole each other artistic style.

I liked how the fishbowl always stayed full of water!! It was gulped from, spilled over, and turned upsidedown!! Must be a magic fishbowl.
Also, I think that fish has no problem taking care of himself!
