Jesus is God. It's in the old testament and new testament. The different versions of the bible are different only in saying not meaning. For example, I can say "I am leaving" or "I am going out the door." Same meaning different words. If you want some verses I'll be glad to give them to you.

Did I ever say that Jesus was not a man? Jesus is both man and God. That's what it says in the bible. Jesus says to Satan Matt 4:10: "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only." This is clearly a statement by Balaam and not God himself. There are more than one example in the Bible where God changes his mind. For instance, Jeremiah 18:8 God speaking "and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned." Also, Isaiah 38 1-5 God told Hezekiah that he was going to die, but decided to extend his life for fifteen years because he cried out to God. Obviously you don't read your bible enough.

The Qur'an was written about around 600 years after the bible. Anything said about Jesus in the Qur'an is a lie.

I just would like to ask the Christians here, could Jesus peace be upon him, not have simply been saying what God was saying through Gabriel? @IslamMisunderstood yess, Not only was Jesus a prophet, but also the messiah. In the OT, in order to be forgiven of our sins they needed a pure lamb to be sacrificed. Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the other prophets. He was the one who would be born from a virgin, die, and rise again in 3 days. Thats how he's different from all the other prophets.

The tri-unity always existed, the Father God, the Son God, and the Spirit God, not three gods, but one God existing as three persons. Jesus taught that He and His Father are one (John 10:30), meaning that He and His Father are of the same substance and the same essence. The Father, Son and Spirit are three co-equal persons existing as God. These three had, and continue to have, an eternal relationship.

Jesus had claimed the divine name for his own and the Jews wanted to kill him for it.Therefore, from Jesus' own mouth we see that he was claiming to be God.( I couldn't fit all of it in one post)

Jesus is God. It's in the old testament and new testament. The different versions of the bible are different only in saying not meaning. For example, I can say "I am leaving" or "I am going out the door." Same meaning different words. If you want some verses I'll be glad to give them to you.

@Overdoit But Jesus, when he was living, never knew the new testament that teaches the trinity. It was written years after his death. Neither did he know the authors of the the four gospels nor Paul, that he(jesus) could have prophesized to the people about (when he was living), making the authors more credible so that people would have reasons to believe their writings. How do we know if the authors of the 4 gospels are competent if they're anonymous and thus, trust the bible? Just a question.

Did I ever say that Jesus was not a man? Jesus is both man and God. That's what it says in the bible. Jesus says to Satan Matt 4:10: "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only." Jesus himself is worshiped more than once in the bible (Example Matt 14:33) and accepts it. Jesus says why do you call me good there is one (God) who is good (rhetorically speaking) then later says "I am the good shepherd."

First of all this is Balaam relaying God's word to Balak. Secondly, the verse says "God is not a man, THAT HE SHOULD LIE. It's not stating that God would never be a man. It's stating that God does not lie like man. Muslims love to take verses out of context. Look at Jeremiah 3:14 "Return fathless people, declares the LORD for I am your HUSBAND." with Matthew 9:15 Jesus answered, How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them?"

This is clearly a statement by Balaam and not God himself. There are more than one example in the Bible where God changes his mind. For instance, Jeremiah 18:8 God speaking "and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned." Also, Isaiah 38 1-5 God told Hezekiah that he was going to die, but decided to extend his life for fifteen years because he cried out to God. Obviously you don't read your bible enough.

Way before Paul ever lived. Also in Isaiah 52:8,10 "When the LORD returns to Zion, they will SEE it with their own eyes...The LORD will lay bare his holy ARM in the sight of all the nations..." Who is the ARM of the LORD. Read Isaiah 53. Are they not talking about a man?
