Lombard would do well in the UFC's middleweight division. Lombard destroyed Brian Ebersole, a guy who many consider to be the "dark horse" of the welterweight division.

@davejones8 How many big wins did Anderson Silva have coming into the UFC? His most recent win was over a can like Tony Fryklund before entering the UFC. He'd been dominated by Ryo Chonan and Daiju Takase, both mediocre fighters. He came into the UFC without any BIG name wins, other than Carlos Newton and Hayato Sakurai and look at him now. Hector would do well in the UFC.

@xbm so u are no totally uneducated cuz u are right about anderson,,,but when he was fighting those other guys he was still very small...and in pride you could see real talent in him...and i dont think ryo chonan or daiju takase dominated him,,,,all his losses were still competitive fights,,,this guy is to 1 dimentional....he would maybe do good in the ufc just like cris leben or vitor belfort ...but he would be just like them and not top 10 guys...not to mentin the guys attitude is terrible

@davejones8 Dude, go watch the fights against Takase and Chonan. Back then especially, he had no ground game off his back. Takase and Chonan both dominated him on the ground. And I think Lombard is very well rounded. He's a judo black belt, a BJJ black belt and a good boxer. Like I said, Silva came into the UFC and was over looked by a lot of people. I Lombard would do well in the MW division.

@xbm ok i willl go watch the fights now...hopefully he will be in the ufc soon and we will see...anderson is going to retire after chael beats him anyways,..he is older now and just had surgey and does not seem like he is eager to fight....we will see what happens to MW in the next year
