I totally agree with Jackie here: What's it worth to win the gold medal if you didn't truly earn it? She could skate a simple routine that wouldn't regularly be worth gold and not fall, or she could try and skate a fantastic routine that could usually win her a gold and fall.

being a figure skater, and having watched skating all my life... this doesnt seam very proffessional. for real competitions they never turn the lights off and have spot lights, and the tv announcers would never be so unproffessional as to say "why isnt she getting up" accidents have happened, like jessica dube getting her face sliced by her partners blade and the announcers didnt become unproffessional. Not to mention they arent supposed to show that they like a certain skater best.
