  • this guy is not an artist, he pays to real artist to make the art for him.

Most of street artist do their job at night when police can't catch them, but this guy go in during the day just to be watched by everyone, taking credit of real artist.

    He also commercialized street art,

watch "exit through the gift shop", then you will realized he is just a loser

  • He's not a fake is how it looks but he certainly is not a good artist. He's just mashing ideas together with no purpose. What he is good at is exposing people who aren't that smart. Any fan of his art is exactly the person that's been "brainwashed their face" -to quote Mr. B himself. Banksy never claims to "like" MrB art -not to mention, he says he's a "phenomenon-a force of nature......and i dont mean that in a good way".

  • miserable duplicator Banksy!

  • Mr. Brainswash is a FAKE!! i dont know why you people on here keep telling others that. When clearly if you watch "Exit through the Gift shop" he is a fake

  • @TSxBANG86 he´s not a FAKE, even if you mention Exit through the Gift Shop... its clearly that Banksy admits Terry as an amazing artist. OK , he´s not the most popular and obviously hes not the best but when MR. Brainwash met the street art he jus fell in love and discovered the excitement around bombing a city. He has his own style, many of his creations are clearly different and also more POP than Banksy's rebellious art. I enjoy both of them ...

  • Black hipsters??

  • life was art, now art is dead.

  • ANGER FROM CBS CHECKED THIS FOO HARDCORE FUCK MR BRAINWASH

  • banksy and shepard both didn't know what the where getting into when the signed on to letting thierry film them. remember thierry spent over a decade of his life collecting footage because it was his passion. when shepard sold out people hated on him, when thierry literally sold out people loved him for it, both camps have family and employees they need to take care of. shepard seems a bit 2 faced now, while thierry remains to be sincere and most generous to the community as a whole.

  • fuck mr brainwash

  • He's an asshole

  • WTF DISS NIKKA SAID DEONDRE.......

  • he's a fake...

  • Nelly, HI

  • God! Some people are really fucked. This just goes to show how "brainwashing" advertisement really is. In the end i think thats all that mr. brainwash and his act have to say. People will take anything for real if it's properly packaged. The Andre or some shit :)) wow...i'm sorry for Shepard Fairey. I'm even more sorry about street art that it is being so fucking commercialized. Peace.

  • @fratebrother

And that's exactly what banksy had in mind. Banksy does brainwashes art ;). Banksy is proving how clueless people are.

  • @fratebrother What's with you stupid people thinking that the only way to be is underground??? Being an annoying hipster is not cool. You fucking hippie, anti-society, anti-"system", anti-police, anti-government people just think that the world can only work if everything is underground. Shepard Fairey and Banksy both sell their work. Commercialism was never a bad thing until hipsters start protesting it as if making money is bad...so stupid. You don't even get it.

  • @LuneyTune72 its not so mutch the fact that mr. Brainwash gets money for his art it is more because he does it for money. Banksy's art is in the mainstream eye but Banksy himself is still underground and his art still reflects that. being underground is also something you should be proud of because that means you are not doing it for the money you are doing it for what you love. and i dont fucking care if the world runs on money im not going to set my life goal as make money im going to make art

  • @AUTeARTh I don't know what you classify as underground; Banksy is shown everywhere and almost everybody knows who he is. Being underground does not mean you are not doing something for money. If you do artwork that is all about what you want to do that just means you're an artist. Doing art for money means you're a professional (ex: Andy Warhol.) You seem to believe that trying to sell your art is selling out...good luck surviving as an artist.

  • @AUTeARTh You probably think that way because you are a spray paint artist and you realize that it is almost impossible to make much money (if any at all) in that field, so you comfort yourself by saying that you will be "underground." The more you suffocate yourself by accepting your flaws, the closer you sink into becoming a "bullshit" artist. No matter who your audience is (even if it's yourself) you never fall back on excuses that prevent you from growth.

  • @LuneyTune72 we are kinda going off topic here but being underground is not perventing me from growth, i make money with what i do and so do alot of other people who use spray paint in there art. and i dont see why i would need to comfort my self by saying im underground because im not sad with what im doing. and come on anyone could have just looked at my channel and knew i worked with spray paint. what im trying to get at is i dont care about the money but i would be nice to have just a little

  • @fratebrother People need to realize that this world runs on money. Whether you like it or not, artists need to make money. Being underground is not something that you pride yourself on, it either means you suck or you're ahead of your time. Artists have to find a balance between supporting themselves and doing what they love. We all have to do things we don't want to but we learn more about the world by doing so. I've drifted away from my point: Commercialism is not a bad thing.

  • @LuneyTune72 but most real artist were never in it for the money or because they want to get money out of it .they did street art to express themselves ,they did it because they love art my generation is killing street art .. they only do it to get paid...

    peace.

  • @peace6311 You can say, "don't do it for the money" for any job. The meaning of that saying is: don't sell your soul away to make a buck. If you sell your art, you aren't "selling out." Being an artist is not some strange job where you don't want to get paid. Da Vinci and Michelangelo were both commissioned for paying jobs and I don't know anyone who doesn't call them a "master artist."

  • @LuneyTune72 im not saying you'll be a sell out or selling your soul im just saying

it was never really ALL about making money....

  • @peace6311 I agree, and I never said it was. Don't get so defensive about this, I don't know a lot of sell outs but a know a TON of bullshitters.

  • @LuneyTune72 like i said my generation is killing the underground world of street art....

    peace.

  • @peace6311 Well, go make it better. You can't complain about the world if you don't try and fix it.

  • @LuneyTune72

    not complaining

just letting the world know what i feel

  • @LuneyTune72 I get the money making part but when you commercialize anything it loses everything it stood for it becomes watered down and cheesy. Commercializing is not the way to go..

  • @terrorizer805 Have you ever done anything commercial??? It doesn't sound like it. You sound like you are quoting something you read/heard from someone else (who may be a lousy artist.) You seem to think that people who join the "system," to publicize their work, immediately become bad artists...no matter how good their work is.

  • @LuneyTune72 Have you? And I never said anything about the artist becoming a bad artist I just said anything that becomes commercialized becomes cheesy/watered down. Take rap music for example what is mor raw underground or mainstream? it's like comparing necro to lil wayne. Mainstream is always gonna be for people that cannot think for themselves it's a set agenda in words, a programed channel if you get the jist. And only person i'm qouting is myself and my brain.

  • @terrorizer805 Such a hipster...Whatever. Stay ignorant and stupid.

  • @LuneyTune72 What's a hipster? whatever stay blind ignorant and gullible. I can go all day son.

  • @LuneyTune72 Don't try and discredit my opinions with your BS "who are you quoting" shit. All i'm saying is there are examples all around just open your eyes don't be blind. I totally understand your point of view about supporting yourself and making money to get by or fuck it to be well off, shit I would do the same in a heart beat! But will I sellout like this guy i'm sorry but I won't..

  • @terrorizer805 Also being "underground does not mean you suck or it does not neccesarily mean you're ahead of your time take Banksy for example. Banksy became famous but it came with his talent and hard work and time! But is he trying to commercialize his shit or make it mainstream no he's not all he ever did was put out exit through the gift shop documentary. And yes I bet he's getting his money too but that wasn't why he was in it for. Don't fall for mainstream BS think for yourself..

  • @terrorizer805 Who said that selling out is being commercial? I think you are confused, sorry.

  • @LuneyTune72 Lol ok buddy whatever you say :) thing is no one seems to agree with you so that's all I have to say..
