This song gives me chills every time I listen to it and I can't seem to stop pressing the play button again and again. My father continues to struggle with alcoholism and I had a close friend in Middle School who dropped out of school due to her drug addiction. I have always resolved to never drink or do drugs and people never seem to understand that. Paul understands and I thank him for making this beautiful song that says what I never could.

@mackles lol how is this minimalist? It's pretty straight-forward folk/singer-songwriter/whateve­r you want to call it. The point of artists like Paul Baribeau isn't to show off as a musician, but to put forth a message, to put real emotion and passion into a song. You may not personally like his voice, but it's on-key, emotional, and really embodies the spirit of the song.
