  • You Rock Man!!!!

I've been studying the accordion now for about a year and a quarter. I love it, but it's not an easy instrument to play. I'm in Boston, MA (originally from SFO), and the slogan of the Massachusetts Accordion Association is, "Raising the Spirits Of The World - One Accordion at a Time."

You're doing it, man. I couldn't help smiling while you were playing!

    Cheers!

  • thanks so much. I appreciate the encouragement....tom

  • I miss you Tommy boy! This video rocks:)))

  • Keep up promoting the accordion, I remember you when I grew up on Scott St. in the city. My father and cousin played.

  • Thanks. Actually, I am back living on Scott St. I hope to see you at the SFIAC festa on September 19

  • Was the Tom Torriglia that founded the accordion festival you or your father? or another relative? Or no relation. Supposedly it says that person is no longer with us - and you are definitely with us.

  • HI,

    I really enjoyed your Post.

I play accordian and Piano too, all by ear though. Learned to play while fishing on a Halibut Boat in Alaska.

I just love the beautiful tones that come from these fabulous instruments.

    Keep up the good work

    Best of wishes,

    Earl

  • thank you. tom

  • Hi fellow accordion fans,

I was wondering if anybody knew of any sites that give free sheet music. I'm looking for Thats Amorea. I would really appreciate your help!

Please send me a message because I check my inbox from time to time!

    Thanks,

  • nice story

  • I have to say that is's a great initiative, and i have respect for the big amount of work that he puts in. I love it when people work for it to make the accordeon know by everyone. But why does he have to do this with this kind of crappy musette sounding songs? Shouldn't he learn to play proper pieces and then let it hear to everyone? I'm glad to join him then..

  • you're absolutely correct. tom

  • Way to go. I recently fell in love with the accordion as well. I have been studying with a good teacher now for 6 years. He is 90 now and won't be arround much longer. I share your love. Currently, working on Jolly caballero and Olive Blossoms by Frosinni.. Dick in Mansfield, Ohio

  • your are right itis hard work hours of practices and lot of patencies and talent is involved

  • Bravo for you, Tom! and a great video too!!

  • È questo uomo serio! È uno scherzo!
