  • I chose this phone over any cellphones because of it's xenon flash and it's not a slide phone. Great phone and working well for a year now.",)

  • i need help with that phone, i can't find where is map with themes.. i uploaded a lot of themes for this phone but no where i cant find them.

  • multimiyaa LOL!!! where are you from pal?damn funny accent u got xD

  • the keypad is great for fast texting I found

  • this phone is the shit...nice, simple candybar but a real beast inside

  • Turn your Nokia N82 into safe with Black & White Guard!

  • So..

    The nokia n82 n the nokia n95 8 gb

which one better in the camera part ??

  • the N82 is far better ... trust me because I tried the both :)

  • is far better?? Y..

  • what the heck!!!he said multimiya!!!!what a pronunciaton he has!!sounds funny !!

  • yeah response time is a bit slow but oh well

i hear N97 is better tho..

ok kool will try that thanks!

  • Im trying to decide whether i should get Nokia N78 or 5800 xpressmusic. Which one should i go for? Help!

  • get the 5800 then,..

go check the Nokia 5730,.. it not that bad in terms of functionality and price~

there is a "newer version" of 5800

the Nokia 5530 is said to be a smaller version of 5800...

    go check them both out....=)

  • but hows the touch screen functionality on 5800?

i dont mind touch as long as its easy to use because im a texter so i need something whch will be good with for txing.

  • it have 4 different types of text messaging ways..in the 5800

so i am gueesing that would not be a problem for a heavy texter for you...=)

  • oh thats great....hows the alpha numeric keypad? Is it hard as its a touch type?

  • that's the one i am talking about..

if you are used in texting using the alpha numeric keypad version then it would not be a problem at all,...i dont think it would be harder to type since touch phone are design to be more user friendly than the button ones..maybe you just have to get use to it though

  • oh thats kool then. Thanks

also is the music and camera good?

  • Comment removed

  • since it is an express music phone....

i dont think executing music is a problem..

i heard before the phone playing music with the loud speakers...it produces crisp and "loud" noise

it has a standard 3.2 mpx camera with duel led flash...

pictures taken by this phone suffers lots of noise problem,..but produces quite decent images in bright areas ,.but not in the dark

the camera is incomparable with the N82..though

  • ohk thats cool then. I bought this fone today

so far i gotta say its pretty impressive. Onli the thing which i dnt lik is tht the touch sensitivity is not the best...not lik iphone but does the job so its ok i guess. Music is undoubtedly good. So is the camera. Do u kno any third party softwares for this phone? themes games etc..

  • owh,..awesome

yeah true,...sometimes you have to tap twice to get the phone to respond,..

    just google it

and i bet you can find thousands of free apps on the net

  • I'm trying to decide between N82 & 5800. Everyone is sprung on the N82, but it's primarily for the camera. Does the superb camera outweigh the 5800's longer battery life, QWERTY keyboard, screen size, screen resolution, touch screen? Is there something I'm missing?

  • Well if you really want a good phone then you should get the Nokia N97 when it comes out. It has 32GB built in and a touch screen and a keyboard and has fixed all the issues with the nokia 5800 being there first touch screen phone

  • Pivot

Thanks for the info. The N97 is bad ass. I just got my N82, though. There's only so much I'll pay for a mobile; the N97 tests that a bit. Touch screens require more work than moving my thumb a few millimeters left/right & they smudge my screen. The N97 is a slider of sorts. I've already had flex cable issues w/ slider phones. I just prefer one piece. Don't get me wrong, if the N97 was given to me, I wouldn't turn it down.

  • Yea ok I understand XD

  • i think you made the right decision..my brother had the same problem: to choose between n82 and 5800..guess what he bought? now he's in tears.. the camera performance of n82 is unmatched so far by any other nokia phones. the 5800 is cool at first..but then....

  • N82 rocks! =D

    check out N86 8mpx,..

  • it is actually faster than sony ericsson

  • I hate the design! It's so thick and the keypad isn't good either! I hate that Nokia are always doing 1 thing wrong. They can make the perfect phone, so why won't they?

  • The answer is easy. How can you improve on perfection> If they make the perfect phone, the sales of their other devices will suffer.

  • You're right! I didn't think about that..

  • @PhoneArena lol I never thought of that genius

  • you kidding? the camera is better than sony ericsson!

  • lousy narrator =))

  • damn this fool sounds so up tite

  • At 2:44 he said N85...lol

  • ya...lol

  • ooooooooooooop's (terrible wrong)

  • i have one an...simple the best!!!!

  • really...iam plannig to buy onw soon so is the GPS in as fast as they say and can it work inside a building

  • ammmm actualy I bought it from a few days and it's awesome but the GPS can't locate your position inside the buildings but you can open it inside the building using wireless connection to see the maps of the cities...

  • my name is borat. noot!!

  • love this phone

nokia sould make an 8gb version

  • that would be nice but I dont think it would matter much since you can get an 8gig card these days.
