Hes fallen a long way. The mask, the ace venturas, the riddler, in living color and all his great stuff is almost over 10 years old (but still awesome). He needs to come up with more distinguished characters like these if he wants to get back to where he was, and quit doing stupid disney animations and playing normal people. Thats not his talent

Fallen? Wrong word man. He's just the opposite. Someone who seems to know a lot about Jim's characters doesn't seem to recognize the art and talent that goes into his non-comidic characters that's he's doing. And I wouldn't call Horton Hear's a Who stupid. And neither is A Christmas Carol. Voice-work is extremely hard stuff. The fact that he played over 5 characters in A Christmas carol is amazing.

@NanoShorts I liked Christmas Carol for the record. I just meant that Jim owes his fame to his ability to make others laugh, and he was at his best when he was given crazy characters to make his own. Sure dramatic work has artistic value, but Jim Carrey fans don't care how dramatic/artsy he is. They want to laugh. jim is one of the funniest and gifted men in history and that gift needs to be put to better use. Its what makes him stand apart from every other actor in the buisness, not artsyness
