Not good enough Barney! We the people deserve to not only know what the Fed Res spends in the futre, but we deserve to know what they have spent in the past! Yes, it is on a need to know basis and we the people ARE on a need to know and we f***ing demand to know!
We have seen enough by now to know. We need more than an audit on the fed, we need an elimination of the fed. Why are we paying interest on our own money? It's not because of the stellar job that they do. After getting the fed out, republicans and dems need to be voted out. They are 2 sides to the same coin. They put on a show for us, but they work together against us.

The century-long deception called the Federal Reserve system has run its course, which is proved by the fact that if it had to stand on its record, it would fall. If honesty is the best policy, then our Congress has tolerated the worst possible policy all these years. The American people deserve a better reward for all their hard work—a Constitutionally mandated financial system that promotes stability and prosperity, not a secretive and opaque system operated by remote control.

Barney Frank is a sneaky Bastard... when are the American people going to realize the PHONY charade both the Democrats and Republicans create for the Sheeple?
It's like watching WWE with wrestlers against one another hating, fighting, and battling in a big choreographed show, but behind the scenes, they're all buddies. WWE is just like Big Crone Government scheming to their Masters(Lobbyists/Banks/Campaign donations) keeping power and stealing from the people.
Most liberals and independents have more in common with libertarian Ron Paul than do Reagan/Limbaugh conservatives and Republicans. It's a shame mainstream conservatives are too blind to see that (which they proved in a big way back in 2007-2008). The vast majority are still in denial, completely lost in "What would Reagan/Limbaugh do?" . . . the slow drip of hate radio . . . year after year, decade after decade . . . drip, drip, drip . . .
"hate" is a SPLC/ACLU/Pinko code word for censorship and government regulation of "hate speech". When you say "hate radio", I question that you really are a Libertarian. For Democrats, when is in common with Paul for Clinton/Madow liberals and progressives? Even Bill Mauher isn't a libertarian, just a jewish comedian pushing dope and atheism. Libertarianism is conservative in its value of Individuals over the collective oppression of progressive good intentions and social structuring policy.
BTW I was at this meeting when he said this. This was part of the town hall type meeting held in Dartmouth MA. This was the meetng that ALL of the major news outlets could only show you sound bites and no substance. Has any one heard of this question being asked on any MSM outlets? Not even FOX to my disappointment. But I wasn't very surprised.
Barney Franks said it would be part of the OVERALL Federal regulation bill that he wants adopted. Sounds like more government regulation on the private sector. This was a slick way to be able to say he is for the HR1207. With all the cosponsors, it must have been getting harder for him to justify delaying the bill. Now he can say he was for it but will just water it down and make it part of some other 1000 page government regulation.
Barney Frank is not a friend of "We, the People." How he gets elected each term is now pretty evident, with more people using video cameras & YouTube.: Barney lies and tells his constituents the opposite of how he votes and plays in the House.
Thankfully, now everyone will know it. Especially his constituents, whom he considers uneducated enough to believe his lies term after term when election time rolls around.
Massachusetts voters in District 4 have a rare opportunity to make a difference in this country.
With the passing of Senator Kennedy, which requires an election for a replacement within the next 160 days, and Barney Frank up for reelection in 2010, we could really change the power structure in DC.
We need good candidates and movement to wake people up!
BTW the MA Dems are changing the rules AGAIN in Mass to allow a temporary Senator replacement to be appointed by the Governor.
Yeah they'll pass this and then something like a false flag will happen to deter ppls minds from it and make them concentrate and pay attention to something else.
If the congressmen actually take back power from the Federal reserve and return it to the nation and its people, they will have a great legacy and place in history I imagine.
Auditting the FED is a good start and ending it is even better. What I'm concerned about is the idea that it will only be replaced with something even worse.
Good point. First of all there are already existing non-Federal Reserve financial institutions - credits unions and the NCUA and community banks. As far as retail banking, that's all covered without any need for a Fed.
For the big vampire banks, Congress should appoint a board to supervise them, thus keeping money power under Congress (as per the Constitution) and beef up FDIC.
It's important to stop any international mergers/IMF/WB type institution.
Barney Frank has just sponsored a bill to permit the sharing of confidential supervisory information with foreign auditor oversight bodies. HR3346 amends Sarbanes-Oxley Act
Not sure what it all means and all the implications but sounds like global monetary control. What do you all think?
Frank NEVER says it will be passed; he dances around it...HEY BARNEY--if you're SERIOUS; why aren't you among the TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY TWO SPONSORS on H1207???
This slime ball organization, the fed, has been entrenched in our government for almost 100 years. The only way to get rid of them is to get rid of each and every one of them from the face of the earth.
Barney Frank brings shame on us all. How is the piece of treasonous garbage still a congressman?
He and Nancy Pelosi are openly protecting a cabal of fascist bankers.(do a search on: Barney Frank runs gay whorehouse out of his home. This guy is as bad as they come. Blackmail, and treason)
If we audit the fed, we will find out who stole our money. It's that simple.
The is plenty of evidence that he did in the 80's cos he admitted it and it's on record since the call boys scandal came out in the late 80's early 90's. There is no point disputing what is known to be true even from Frank. Frank confirmed to the Washington Times reporter Paul Rodriguez that he had a relationship with a gay hustler who serviced clients at Frank's apartment and accompanied him to political functions, that's straight from the horses mouth. So if Frank admits it, how is it a lie?
A man with whom Frank had a relationship offered his services as a prostitute while living with Frank. How is that translated to "Frank runs a gay whorehouse out of his home"? Was he is the pimp? Is he still doing it (note your present tense)? Did the prostitute in question do this at Frank's behest? That's what I mean by lies.
The man with whom Frank had a relationship was using Frank's apartment as a service center. I don't believe Frank didn't know this was going on in his own home. Other prostitutes corroborated the story. The fact is that he did have some kind of operation going on at home, whether he was running it or not, he was aiding it. The prostitute named Gobie, also used Frank's congressional car for business. Frank also wrote letters on congressional paper to officials asking to shorten Gobie's probation.
Another prostitute, identified as Ricky, also backed Gobie's claims that Mr. Frank benefited from the prostitution operation with reduced rates for sexual acts.
You have said nothing that corrorborated the statement "Frank runs a gay whorehouse out of his home." I don't dispute what you've said, which is a matter of public record. But there is NO evidence that Barney Frank now, or has ever, run "a gay whorehouse out of his home."
I never said he did run "a gay whorehouse out of his home", someone else did but he allowed and benefitted from one being run from his own home which to me is just as bad and maybe the only reason why he wasn't so hands on was because he would lose his job.
You agreed with the poster, saying, "there's plenty of evidence that he did." "Runs" implies management, indeed, in the present tense. No evidence of this. "Gay whorehouse," implies a brothel. A single individual acting as an escort does not a whorehouse make. That, specifically, is what I objected to - whether you made the comment or not, you agreed with & defended it.
It still matters though cos in many ways he is a still compromised, blackmailable politician who finds it too easy to bail out corrupt banks. As Frank said himself: 'If I'd been 20 years younger, I would have liked to have tried hustling. . . . I think it would be a thrill to get paid for sex," can you trust someone like that to pass policy?
I've never though that one's personal sexual ethics had too much bearing on one's ability to create, debate, or vote on legislation. Unless it's legislation related to sexual ethics. Whether or not he acted foolishly is a matter of debate - his legislative abilities are, as well. I personally think his legislative record is a good one, and that he is a bold and articulate spokesperson for his political beliefs. And his constituents seem to agree.
You'd be more believable if you included the names of the Republicans (Paulson et al) who were involved, and maybe even if you named those "fascist bankers" (Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, HSBC, BofA, Citigroup) that stole the money.
But you're more interested in talking about gay hookers. Noted.
I believe it is the Financial Product Protection Committee he is referring to when he says, "we will pass it in October." He answered the question about HR 1207, which requires an audit (but says nothing about a committee for consumer protection) by switching the topic to HIS PET LEGISLATION. He cites that Ron Paul agrees with him on two points, but he did not say HR1207 will pass in October. Replay the video and watch what he does again... and be alert for the bait and switch tactic.
Frank is as honest and intelligent as Maxine Waters - another piece of work in the finance committee. Frank would have brought it up in the committee a while ago if he had any desire to honor his own words. I'm not optimistic at all that the bill will pass intact.
This video is misleading he actually says that H.R. 1207 is going to be "That will be part of the overall federal regulation that we are redacting..." They are going to attach Ron Paul's bill along with other bill's into a "giant" bill H.R. 1207 will be greatly watered down. Call your rep today and tell him to keep H.R. 1207 standing on it's own two feet.
Just google Barney Frank Pedophile or google Barney Frank Paul Bonaci and you'll see what we are dealing with here with Barney. A disgusting, despicable animal. This dude makes me sick.
Barney states "I completely disagree the Federal is the cause of this" THEN he goes on to discuss a number of issues that may not directly MAKE the fed the cause of the economic problems(as mentioned by audience member).. WHO other/What other private institution has such sweeping influence on American AND global economics?
Admit it BARNEY. the Federal Reserve Bank is out of control for God's sakes. Can't
anyone of you swallow your pride, face and admit the corruption? GEEZIS
Take away the power from the banking cartel, and the military industrial complex will fall. If it happens, a massive 2 year depression will come but we can rebuilt the Republic and the "entrepreneur spirit to reemerge."
Lets have the Fed and the Treasury deposit One Million Dollars into every American Citizens bank account that they can't touch, but they can skim off the interest and profits from those accounts over time.
The Fed and the Treasury deposited billions and trillions into the accounts of Wall Street and the banksters so they can skim off the profits and make billions of dollars and pay themselves million dollar bonuses. It's only a matter of fairness to do the same for everybody.
i think this is a smokescrean! there is no way on this earth that the fed will allow this to happen. if they do, perhaps it will mean that control of world liquidity has already been transferred out of the dollar and into some sort of world currency, perhaps special drawing rights?
HR 1207 should be introduced on its own - not attached to anything and unaltered in any way.
Anything changed or attached would be an excuse to pass those things because they know people want HR 1207 passed.
I'm sick of these schemes. A plain, simple, and direct audit is what we need, and we need it now - not as part of some other FED power-grabbing nonsense.
Too early to celebrate. The bill is attached to another bill that gives the Fed even more power. Did you really think this was going to be legite!? It's the government stupid.
Glad to have support from HR1207 but if you listen to Frank, he wants to take power back from the Fed so the congress can intervein where he thinks the Federal Reserve should have. Not good. He doesn't realize that banks give shady loans because the GSE's are buying and insuring them. Stop subsidizing risk taking, you will cut down on risky lending.
if he says the audit the fed bill will bepassed in october, that must mean that they will finish destroying america in september. The fed will never allow themselves to be audited; thy will bring down the country before they do
It's growing everyday, in this country, and even internationally. He is now, by far and away, the most sought after US politician in the world. Everyone wants to interview him! He's in such demand, that he has to turn down offers to speak. Not enough time to do it all. He's very popular on the international scene. The problem is, Dr. Paul is somewhat reticent, he shuns the lime light a lot of times. This is mark of a truly great man. He is becoming a modern day Mahatma Ghandi.
We need to be sure that HR 1207 is not amended, and not attached to anything else, or anything else attached to it!
Call and write your congress critters. If they co-sponsored, thank them. Ask them to be sure that the bill is not watered down or mixed up with anything else. It sounds like Barney wants to do both.
I trust Barney the purple dinosaur more than i trust this piece of shit!

The vast majority are still in denial, completely lost in "What would Reagan/Limbaugh do?" . . . the slow drip of hate radio . . . year after year, decade after decade . . . drip, drip, drip . . .
RonPaulGeorgeRingo 2 years ago 2

Perceiving 2 years ago 3
Thanks- you nailed it!
Vote this lying bum out!

Fractional reserve banking is legalized counterfeiting. If we're going to pay a tax, it should be out in the open.

If the congressmen actually take back power from the Federal reserve and return it to the nation and its people, they will have a great legacy and place in history I imagine.

Auditting the FED is a good start and ending it is even better. What I'm concerned about is the idea that it will only be replaced with something even worse.
booger546 2 years ago
Oh and arrest Paulson and Greenspan.

FreedomsReigning 2 years ago 5
"Barney Frank runs a gay whorehouse out of his home." This lie gets repeated constantly. Where's the evidence? There is none.
fishhead06 2 years ago
The is plenty of evidence that he did in the 80's cos he admitted it and it's on record since the call boys scandal came out in the late 80's early 90's. There is no point disputing what is known to be true even from Frank. Frank confirmed to the Washington Times reporter Paul Rodriguez that he had a relationship with a gay hustler who serviced clients at Frank's apartment and accompanied him to political functions, that's straight from the horses mouth. So if Frank admits it, how is it a lie?
burlearth 2 years ago
A man with whom Frank had a relationship offered his services as a prostitute while living with Frank. How is that translated to "Frank runs a gay whorehouse out of his home"? Was he is the pimp? Is he still doing it (note your present tense)? Did the prostitute in question do this at Frank's behest? That's what I mean by lies.
fishhead06 2 years ago
The man with whom Frank had a relationship was using Frank's apartment as a service center. I don't believe Frank didn't know this was going on in his own home. Other prostitutes corroborated the story. The fact is that he did have some kind of operation going on at home, whether he was running it or not, he was aiding it. The prostitute named Gobie, also used Frank's congressional car for business. Frank also wrote letters on congressional paper to officials asking to shorten Gobie's probation.
burlearth 2 years ago
Another prostitute, identified as Ricky, also backed Gobie's claims that Mr. Frank benefited from the prostitution operation with reduced rates for sexual acts.
burlearth 2 years ago
You have said nothing that corrorborated the statement "Frank runs a gay whorehouse out of his home." I don't dispute what you've said, which is a matter of public record. But there is NO evidence that Barney Frank now, or has ever, run "a gay whorehouse out of his home."
fishhead06 2 years ago
I never said he did run "a gay whorehouse out of his home", someone else did but he allowed and benefitted from one being run from his own home which to me is just as bad and maybe the only reason why he wasn't so hands on was because he would lose his job.
burlearth 2 years ago
You agreed with the poster, saying, "there's plenty of evidence that he did." "Runs" implies management, indeed, in the present tense. No evidence of this. "Gay whorehouse," implies a brothel. A single individual acting as an escort does not a whorehouse make. That, specifically, is what I objected to - whether you made the comment or not, you agreed with & defended it.
fishhead06 2 years ago
It still matters though cos in many ways he is a still compromised, blackmailable politician who finds it too easy to bail out corrupt banks. As Frank said himself: 'If I'd been 20 years younger, I would have liked to have tried hustling. . . . I think it would be a thrill to get paid for sex," can you trust someone like that to pass policy?
burlearth 2 years ago
I've never though that one's personal sexual ethics had too much bearing on one's ability to create, debate, or vote on legislation. Unless it's legislation related to sexual ethics. Whether or not he acted foolishly is a matter of debate - his legislative abilities are, as well. I personally think his legislative record is a good one, and that he is a bold and articulate spokesperson for his political beliefs. And his constituents seem to agree.
fishhead06 2 years ago
You'd be more believable if you included the names of the Republicans (Paulson et al) who were involved, and maybe even if you named those "fascist bankers" (Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, HSBC, BofA, Citigroup) that stole the money.
But you're more interested in talking about gay hookers. Noted.

The people have spoken at the tea parties and the town halls; we want our country back from these criminal bankers. End the Fed!
ronheri 2 years ago 4
I believe it is the Financial Product Protection Committee he is referring to when he says, "we will pass it in October." He answered the question about HR 1207, which requires an audit (but says nothing about a committee for consumer protection) by switching the topic to HIS PET LEGISLATION. He cites that Ron Paul agrees with him on two points, but he did not say HR1207 will pass in October. Replay the video and watch what he does again... and be alert for the bait and switch tactic.
