i can totally relate, my daughter was 4 months old when she passed away from sids. she was born 12-12-94 and passed away on 4-12-95 and havent dealt with her loss as til this day I dont know how to. but hes sure a handsome lil man. sooo sorry for the loss and pain you all had to go through.

He was the most beautiful babyboy I have ever seen. I had twins 5 wks early and almost lost my son cause of immature lungs. I cant even begin to imagine the pain ur family is going through, and his momma, I feel for her and will pray for her. Thank you for sharing this.

so very sorry for your loss...very time i see a pregnant woman smoking.i tell her that her smoke is going to that baby and it could be a possible cause of sids now and if she continues after he is born..i get more of a angry reaction, that i commented on her smoking then that her baby could die..What is wrong with these women??? are they so uneducated that they cant read what they are doing to their babies? or dont they care?

why the negs, smoking has been associated with an increase risk of sids. nevertheless, smoking is not good for an unborn child. good excuse to quit. i did, so i know it can be done.

Formula feeding is also associated with an increased risk of SIDS. We can't start blaming mothers for such tragic events because they smoked or gave formula. No-one is perfect and no-one will ever know what caused SIDS for a particular baby.

What a beautiful little boy. We to know the pain of sids our beautiful son Elijah died september 9th 2001 aged 34 days. Our pain never ends and never eases, its so unfair !!!! So sorry for your loss. Was your grandson a premie? Sadly SIDS is very high in premature boys. My son was born at 28 weeks. Today he is 15 years old. We just lost my sister-in-law on June 13, 2008 four hours after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl so we know your heart ache. I will keep you in our prayers
