@mysticalwater You definitely should apply and you probably will get in (especially if you're in-state). I am an in-state freshman and had a 4.33 and I had a 1380 combined, but I also had tons of extra curricular and I played 3 varsity sports which seems to be really important too (being well rounded). You never know what admissions is looking for and if you are a senior this year join some clubs and volunteer. If I havent said it enough, APPLY. Being a tar heel is the best feeling in the world.

unc is the best place to be. I was a freshman last year and I definitely had the best time of my entire life. whatever it is you want to be into, you can find it. great intellectual community, the arts re fascinating, the campus really cares, the college town has all the "necessary" college-y things (a multitude of burrito places, badass music venues, many bars/clubs which don't suck).

I'd be willing to argue that UNC is one of hte best college experiences in the nation. but I'm biased. welcome!
