I agree this commercial cheapens the whole movie and the movie is lacking in facts. There are far more movies out there, skip this one, don't discredit the whole underlying idea. There is ample evidence to the harmful effects of cell phones out there.
I am not a big fan of MLMs (multi-level-marketing firms)and am not sure why they are advertising in this way...less expensive, maybe, HOWEVER, I am grateful that this product is on the market because I know my cell phone is extremely pollutive. If you go to their website, you can see the several scientic studies by independent scientists showing the effects of EMFs due to cell phone use and the effects of using the Biopro product. It's remarkable.

If it were just on store shelves no1 would know how it works and no1 would buy it. This allows person to person interaction to spread the word of both the problem of emf and our solution.
Also if they tried to advertise this conventionally on TV and radio the wireless industry would buy them out. As they are one of the biggest industries in our economy and one of the biggest advertisers on TV and other media.

I still do not fully understand how it works because I am not a scientist. At the same time I still don't fully understand how my tv works, I just know it does.
