  • 2:30 anybody else think of Total Recall??

  • anyone else watch the whole vid in one sitting?

  • This has one of the best ending themes of all time.

  • i saw the video from the begin to end during Davis cup behind David Ferrer vs Del Potro and my head it´s burning... shit! .... "one of my favorites games in my Amiga 500"

  • The title should be renamed to "SNES Emulator Longplay Flashback: The Quest for Identity"

  • Conrad is such a badass dude lol.

  • I haven't watched the whole thing yet but I came here for the last level, I'm stuck. Thank you for posting this!!

  • One of my favorite snes games :)

  • I love how the enemies start shooting at him at 0:00:31 and he's way gone, ha ha.

  • thanks for making the video never know what to do when escaping in the last level

  • this game makes me feel kinda funny, like when we climbed the rope in gym class

  • 2:16:01 - No elevator for me, its upstairs. Failed the game, don't know how.

  • Much better on the amiga, when I think of flashback i always think of the amiga

  • @warwick2155 The ending theme is superior by far on the SNES version ;)

  • same animations than old prince of persia.... lol

  • I finlay got past the first few screens! Could never do that jump when i was younger on my amiga. Used a saga controler. Must of been doin it wrong lol.

  • Whooops found out. lol skillped a bit :P

  • umm im at 8:20 and teh lif wont move. Now what? xD

  • Remember this when i was younger love it.

  • Dude, you sure enjoy throwing poor Conrad into walls, don't you?

  • Really Hideo2x Megadrive better than the SNES 90% if games back then looks way better on the SNES...The SNES could display a ton more colors than the MD not

to mention how incredible the sound was. If Flashback was better on the MD it had to be a fluke most multiplatform games back then were far superior on the SNES.

  • the SNES version of Flashback is crappy -very often slowing down because of the slow SNES cpu!, I prefer SEGA MEGA DRIVE/GENESIS port of this game (SEGA had almost 2x faster cpu), sorry for my english, I'm from Poland, EU

  • Never really understood the point of this game growing up... o_0;;; Is that pathetic?

  • @ cubex55 Well, Another World was basically Eric Chahi's vision, and he created, designed and developed it along with Delphine but he had nothing to do with Flashback; that being Paul Cuisset, who basically did everything. They both used the same developers is all. Delphine had nothing to do with the idea of either game or anything. They were given the details and told to develop, essentially. They had nothing to do with inventing the games, for lack of a better word.

  • @VanishingWish

How can it be a RipOff if its by the same developers ;)

  • @cubex55

That and also that it has nothing to do with Another world in any way(maybe the rotoscopy?)

  • @VanishingWish The story, main character, controls, environment and enemies have nothing in common with Another World. The only similarity is it's very fine animation and inclusion of cut scenes.

  • @VanishingWish Rip off? not only are they made by the same company... the only thing they have in common is the design of the animation-sequences.. and since they ARE from the same company, that's not really surprising.

  • @VanishingWish hahaha most clueless comment ever xD

  • Who has seen the whole video? I did.

  • Why are the sound FX so bad! The genesis version sounded so much better than this. Never seen the amiga version so I can't compare, but I wonder why this version was chosen over the genesis version or the amiga version for that matter. I would suppose it is the player's preference.

  • AMIGA VERSION WAS BETTER

  • Didn't you prefer the a-nigga version? :3

  • YEAH! It'sa Flashback!!)) Played it on Genesis, and thought that it was the best game ever! When i first saw the cutscenes i nearly shat myself - it was fantastic!

Thank you very much for this longplay.

  • One of the best games in 16 bits era PERIOD

  • Ah, good ol' Flashback. I remember playing this again recently, since I forgot about it for a good 10 years. Loved playing it back then, loved playing it now.

  • Picked this up on Genesis and Sega CD a few weeks back, great game.

  • "Get your ass to mars....err, new washington!"

  • I just love games made in this "style". Prince of Persia, Another World, Flashback, Blackthorne, Oddworld 1 & 2. Does anyone know of other games of this nature that I might like?

  • Genesis does what Nintendon't

  • @bleachwad and nintendo does what segdont...like mode 7, transparency, 4 backgrounds and 10 times the colors. :P

  • actually, what you should have said was "Nintendo is what Genesisn't"

but its too late and I don't care, SNES has muffled Sound FX and slow framerate for nearly all its 3rd party ports

  • @bleachwad I don't wanna argue over such matters. Both systems have their ups and downs. I was just offended with that other dude's comment. eh...enjoy the games..ya know what i mean...one love baby!

  • no harm done, nice talking to you

  • Played and finished it on PC version, amazing game along with Another world.

  • esse jogo marcou minha vida XD

  • sooo many ports of this game. I don't think the Atari jagwire port was tooo bad.

  • I remember this game it was a bitch.

  • Is the Mega Drive/Gen version better?

  • @Rockerbeck yep....there is no slowdown in the genesis. Also, this version is slightly censored.

  • @Rockerbeck I have both the Mega Drive/Genesis version and the SNES version. The SNES version is not nearly as good as the Mega Drive/Genesis version. It suffers from a lot of slowdown and very choppy performance, plus the audio is not as good as on the Sega. Overall though, it is still a great game and you should play either one. In my opinion, the DOS version is the best of them all, then Genesis, then Amiga and the SNES in last place. haven't played it on any other systems.

  • Flashback on Super Nintendo?

    BOOOOOOOO!!!

    (throwing shit at the screen)

    BOOOOOOOO!!!

  • @Chemognoza huh.???
