  • about time they put the REAL dennis waterman in this it makes it more epic

  • Bollocks to all that great guy, what a nice man crap. This isn't funny, It's a crap pointless idea with no basis in any aspect of Dennis Waterman or Minder. What's the idea behind it? Waterman must have only done it to keep those tossers at the BBC happy coz he's in that New Tricks and didn't want to ruffle any feathers.

  • @flaxonx3 And the winner of the Buzz Killington award goes to.....

  • @clonadlad Who's he? Someone who knows unfunny crap when sees it? Top man then!

  • SPICY

  • I love it! How cool to have the real Dennis Waterman! LOL I love that sketch and the real person just made it funnier!

  • Dennis seems to have something taped to the side of his face!

  • @mistofoles - it's a head mic.

  • @mistofoles its called a microphone, it allows the audience to hear what they say

  • David is cute when he flicks his wig lol

  • Nice to see a good sport people take themselves too seriously nowadays.

  • I thought he had a scar on his left side of his face at first

  • @RichardElden Thx DICK nice name, FUCKING HALFBREED.

  • @RichardElden You've obviously not lived,waterman is a Legend,at Least he is Fucking British

  • Very good!

  • Damn. David Williams is a really big guy.

Dennis Waterman is awesome for doing this lol

  • Dennis Waterman reminds me of the good times in London.

  • Dennis Waterman what an absolute legend "Sing me theme tunes!"

  • "I'm sorry real Dennis Watermen" :D

  • this was fantastic !!!!!

  • Dennis Waterman a complete legend, one of our finest ever actors.

  • "Minder" classic!

  • What a super sport! Nice work Dennis

  • I love this! Dennis Waterman does always seems like an angry little man, haha.

  • Top bloke Dennis Waterman, one of yer own.

  • Ahhhh, bless his soul, The Minder

  • David Walliams has a huge head

  • His old enough to be my Grandad but Geeeezzz i wouldn't say no!!!

  • Good old Terry Mcann/George Carter!!

  • Write the feem tune sing the feem tune

  • Who would the American equivalent of Dennis be? I am not familiar with Mr. Waterman, but these sketches are funny. :)

  • @LaDracul

he reminds me of David Hasselhoff, kind of. What with singing and being on tv shows.

  • @LadyEdgar Does he have a huge following in Germany?

  • Hahahaa.

Dennis is brilliant. My mum used to see him all the time down the pub.

  • @ThePond007 Bet she did

  • @SmutJunkie What does the even mean? :S She never spoke to him, he just went to her local.....

  • @ThePond007 i wish i was your mum lol

  • i luv dennis waterman especially in minder and new tricks

  • little Britain reminds me of kathy brand

  • wooooooollllllllliessssssss

  • 'It's funny really, cos the bees bigger than the dog'

    LOL.

  • top bloke

  • DENNIS WATERMAN <33333333 whata hero! :)

  • this is AMAZING. Little Britain is my favourite show, and 'real' Dennis Waterman is FABULOUS for doing this, what a great guy ;)

  • Im 5 foot 10 and i aint considerd a midget,I was actually considerd tall at 18 until everyone around me got taller!

  • what a sport 'real' Dennis is!

  • Dennis also sang Stay Lucky, which he starred in!

  • What a good sport. Must be one of the few remaining in our sceptered isle.

  • I absolutely heart the real dennis waterman!

  • Is he shorter than Matt?

  • Compared to David Walliams, Dennis Waterman is a midget!

  • yeah but david walliams is 6 foot 4 inches which is taller than average, and dennis is 5 foot 10 inches, which is average.

  • You are so good for us Dennis!!! :)

  • HAHAHAHA Dennis waterman <3

  • what u could do is let me sing the theme tune...HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can't understand all the juvenile 'I'd deck them' comments. Firstly Waterman showed that he was an adult, took it in good part, and proved he could laugh at himself. THAT is what makes him a great guy!

  • lmfao...great :D

  • 4ever george carter and terry mccann!!

  • walliams and lucas are prats..waterman is a legend though !

  • why the hell are you watching this then?

  • for waterman the legend of course!

  • who rattled your damn cage?

  • It was bound to happen eventually. =D

  • "how could we ever repay yoouu?" HAAAAAAAAA I LAUGHED SOOOOO HARD!!!!

  • i would ave proper decked those 2 pratts next to the legend of london. (if i was on stage that is)

  • If I was there I would have gone on stage and do a Terry McCann on them.

  • It really p*sses me off when I see these two trivialising such a classic show.

Minder produced some of the best tv moments in history, whereas Little Britain wrote one script and gave chavs a form of comedy that was simple enough to understand.

  • I agree, Minder is much better and funnier.

  • Mister MacBeth is a naughty ma-han, do-de-do-do-do...

  • tell me exactly what is the point of this sketch? Thats what I was thinking... they should have just had denis on singing... with George cole...

  • cos its comic relief not singing relief

  • 3.52-Matt says, "were very sorry", brilliant stuff.Dennis is a hero doing this!

  • this is comic relif does little britain

  • Wow, Little Britain back when it was still funny!

  • yeah, they should never of done the american thing.

    bloody awful.

  • Ole Minder can really deliver a song!

  • Its the dogs B*****ks

  • Just classic... just classic

  • Absolutely amazing. I love Little Britain and I absolutely love Dennis Waterman in New Tricks (I don't really know much more because I'm from the Netherlands and they don't even have this series, I watch on the BBC ;-))

  • i have to do the theme tune, i always do the theme tune

  • i exspected him to sing... "ill be so good for..... the scottish play" lol

  • Good on him. Heard him interviewed in the past saying he never found them skitting him that funny, but good on him for joining in on this. Goes up in my estimation. And a great song to boot. He is small though.

  • mmmmmmmmmmm, loveliest bit of rough around!

  • thanks for this one ....made my evening lol...and my 11 year old boy loved it :)

  • i miss the 80s.great tv.great music.

  • AHAhhhahahahahahahhHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA A

    BRITS FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant !!!!

  • omg! :L that was so funny! i propa thought he was mad but he was only acting Lol. good actor, good singer GREAT SKETCH

  • waterman rocks! hes got a wicked voice!!! i wish i had been there!!!!!!!

  • waterman in new tricks is really good i love that programm

  • Waterman is still doing what he does best by the looks of things. New Tricks last night was amazing.

  • i second to that! i love new tricks too

  • Super, as always.

  • waterman is a legend!

  • Respect to Dennis Waterman, a bloody good sport !

  • right on he did a terry and put em in their places. he hasn't lost the voice for that song either

  • Dennis Waterman = Legend

  • Great to see Dennis Waterman in this clip

  • waterman is still hardman Terence McCann from minder and he put em in his place.

  • brilliant . i shall be so good to you

  • I like this sketch because it shows that Dennis Waterman has a good sense of humour

  • Classic Waterman.

  • Does anyone have Dennis Waterman singing On The Up please.

  • ROFL!ROFL!ROFL!

  • I saw the real Dennis Waterman complain about the Little Britain sketch on the Jonathan Ross show ages ago...so it's good to see him in this, putting Matt and David in their places...but with humour!

  • Very funny- Dennis took it well!

  • Is there a guy named Dennis Waterman...? I didnt't really get this

  • Yes. He was in a series called MINDER. David was playing Dennis Waterman....taking the piss because he kinda short and always sings the theme tunes of programmes he was in.

  • Just to add to this (and I agree with your points): in the Little Britain DVD extras for series 1, Walliams and Lucas said that the idea of a character who insists on starring in a show, writing and singing the theme seemed 'childish' to them. He was made a child in the radio series, and when this went on TV, they took the opportunity to make the sight gag with a miniature Dennis Waterman.

  • David is so hot and cute! and that was so funny on stage when he said he don't know why he speaks in taht way and the bee was bigger than the dog xD

I laughed all the time ^^

  • they haven't really thought this through

'rolls around on the floor laughing'

  • isnt this on the special comic relief nite dvd

  • walliams luks like a giant 2 the real dennis waterman lol

  • I don't remember seeing this on the DVD, is it there?

  • I doubt the Americans seen Minder (which dennis starred) because of the cockney slang used in the show

  • "its funny actually cos the bee is bigger then the dog" !!! walliams sounds hilarius when her sez that!

    he's great :)

  • NO matter what he wears, David is always so hot...

  • British humor is unique. Matt is incredible. David is simply a genius. Neither here in Argentina do we have something like them.

  • British entertainment is far more intelligent, creative and interestingthan majority or all american entertainment....(said by american)

  • except from Curb and Seinfeld of course Benamnon, And no it is not on the dvd it was a special comic relief night sketch.

  • fabulous skit. when was this done as i am aussie.

  • best song ever

  • did matt lucas and david walliams know that the real dennis waterman was going to come on cos they looked really suprised!

    ???

  • Yes because it was for Comic Relief and they done one with Russel Brand aswell

  • Lol! I actully love new tricks "It's alright, its ok doesnt even matter if you're old and grey!!"

  • same it's a catchy song :)

  • write the theme tune sing the theme tune

  • FEEM TOON!

  • hahahahahahahahah this is hilarious

  • Genius.

  • fair play to dennis!! what a good sport

  • This is halarious! but why is he a miniature human?

  • It all started when they saw Dennis for the first time either Matt or David commented that he looked smaller in the flesh , at least thats what ive been told.

  • I'm guessing David said that because he's the one who is 6'3"!

  • LOL

  • fantastic

  • SPICY! lol

  • Dennis Waterman is a legend! XD I always loved Little Britain! "It's alright, it's OK..." I love New Tricks too, lol! Little Britain is a little gem! ^_^

  • I think this was the best part on the DVD.

  • i could be so good for you...

  • ahh great

  • what a show!!!!!!!

  • great!!!

  • omfg this was just sooo funny!! I kept watching it over and over :D

'First of all, I DON'T speak like that!'

    brilliant!

  • Normalyy i dnt think dat little Britian is funny but dat made me LMAO

  • its nice lol

  • I'm an Aussie and although I may not know who Dennis Waterman is, it's still hilarious! I love it! ^_^

  • lol this is well funny im a big little britain fan

  • i dont know hu he is but i find it funny

  • laughin ma head off.

  • yeah you do have to be british, and you have to know who dennis waterman is really

  • Little Britain is my Favorite

  • LOL. I love watching Little Britain :D

  • so cute Dennis!

  • pmsl - little britain is amazing - best sketch show i've ever seen. brilliant !!

  • i guess you have to be british, but i don't get it

  • Well I'm from the other side of the Northsea (So, I am not British) and Little Britain is my favorite tvserie, so I think not.

  • So they want me to star in it, write the feem toon, sing the feem toon! Hiarious

  • Little Birtain is one of my favourite shows!!!

  • completely

  • Best Sweeney line ever:

"We're the Sweeney and we've not had our dinner."

  • british comedy is bizarre

  • No it's not, you should read about Little Britain before you make a judgement, Americans never get other countries humour.

  • You have to have a knowledge of British culture to understand this sketch.
