I hate how soap dies in this one how come he had to die, not to mention that he probably shouldn't have been fighting in the war because he was in the middle of recovering from getting stabbed by a knife about 6 or 7 inches long and he probably still had the stiches on his wound how he died is his wound reopened and it's prices fault because u had to carry soap to the church witch was like a mile away and u set him down about 3 or 4times witch causes him to lose alot of blood.

Man the call of duty series are supposed to be realistic but the MW series arent really going with that rule:

Soap gets knifed and survives

Soap and Yuri fall off a building and survive

Price survives a helicopter explosion

Annnnd Price survives falling through glass

personally, i thought it was shit. i mean, you hit him 3 punches in the face and hit X or some shit. I wanted to brutally box his face in for like 5 minutes after an epic hand to hand battle and then, it would be an amazing ending!

@MadnessMeasured I think Price's zippo is somehow symbolic of whether he would die or not, after the zippo works on the third try and he's able to light up his cigar you realize he's probably ok. Movies use symbology like this all the time.

This isnt the first time this happened. Almost every call of duty game ends with the good guy karate-ing the bad guy so its not really a surprise to me but this one was the best

@TheRealProfesorKaos its not a shit ending, it just leaves everything at a close, USA and russia ended their war, makarovs crew all died, price is in allegience with the americans, since the war is over, its not a bad ending, you just need to watch all the mission videos to understand it.

Notice how the series begins with Price lighting his cigar (the helicopter ride in the first level of MW) and ends with him lighting his cigar. Something very poetic and justified about it.
