I'm thinking about getting this, thing is I'm not that experienced in airsoft and this would be my first gun. Should I or should I not? Weight is not an issue I'm just worried about complexity, any suggestions?
@keksguru here you don't have to worry about dying in combat. Its not that i disagree with armed forces, just saying that fighting for the military for leisure isn't really an option. Airsoft is real life simulation combat for fun. Can't really do that with a real gun. If you're just going to go shooting on a range or something, then i agree with you.
I heard Rumors that this gun's bi-pod, stock, and box mag sucks. Is this true or is this guns overall quality any good? I understand I may have to upgrade the spring.

At 3:50, I can't get mine out of the gun. I can unscrew the big piece, but the overall rod won't budge. I am going to try and lube it and see if that does anything, but in case it doesn't, any suggestions?
If you ordered i from airsplat then thats why. Airsplat is constantly voted the worst airsoft store on the face of the planet for poor customer service, sending guns that brake in a few days and for sending broken guns. lol trust me i know, their customer support litterly tried to scam me out of my warrinty by so called "trouble shooting" my issue. We sent pictures and everything and it took 2 weeks of depating for them to realize that after I sent the gun back once already.
TRPproductions2 is right about the customer service. When i first got the gun it worked fine but after 1 battle it broke. Airsplat sent me a free replacment but never gave my money back. I lost 249 dollars. Plus the new one broke and i spent 955 dollars on repairs.
mate every version of the m249 saw and m240 and l7a2 is used in iraq and afghanistan by british and US troops but the m240 is just a copy of the british or belgium l7a2. the m240 and l7a2 are heavy machine guns where as the m249 is a light machine gun, so get it right!!!!!!!!
um i wouldnt really call the m249 a light machine gun......yes the m240 is a heavy machince gun using a 7.62 round. and the m249 uses a 5.56 round the same as the m16 and m4
I've bought this gun and it is not nearly as good as they say it is.The drum mag sucks it breaks easily. Once the barrel comes out you easily lose parts destroying the gun.
Plus unless you get a 8.4 battery the mag won't feed right.
Not to mention if it does break down Airsplat does harldly anything their customer service sucks.
can someone help me out real fast, for some reason when I pull the trigger and stop the gun will not stop shooting, unless I pull the trigger again and put the safty on, even if I put the safty on while its firing it will not stop(with out pulling trigger first), and when this happens the trigger is in its normal pos.
the only bad part about this gun is the trigger switch breaks on almost every gun and the gun will fire full auto till the battery runs out.Its a cheap fix but.... and that guy thaats selling his probably has the same problem. only like 17 dollars with shipping to switch
You're using iMovie... aren't you. I'm guessing that because it won't let you use an image without the zooming effect. Just use "capture still frame" and re-insert the image. If you're not using iMovie: Don't use the zoom!
I have one of these that I'm interested in selling. I bought it about a month ago (just a little too long ago to return it for store credit) and decided I didn't need such a large gun. It was $250 on airsplat when I bought it, I'd like $175. Only played 2 games with it.
I love it when airsoft Idiots think they know about weapons. Its not a lower Receiver, its the Receiver. Its one piece. And its the FEED TRAY COVER. The collapsing buttstock is made for airborne ops. NOT CQB. Hence why its called a PARA SAW. They do have a Collapsing Buttstock for CQB though, it looks like an M4 Buttstock.

depends on how deep ur pockets are if u r willing to get a more real verson of the gun be willing to pay $575 at airsplat for normal or if u want a QCB type then get the para but if i had 575 $ laying arround i would buy the normal one
does the full stock version have a longer INNER barrel than this? because i know the PARA has a shorter one and i also know the stock folds. but the OUTER barrel on the longer version is longer, but not too sure about the inner one. thanks!
echo= any good china good. There mp5's, m4's and m16's are jg. Their old m14 was agm and their new m14 is cyma. Their SAW's ar A&K. The scar is dboy. But echo does make some of their own guns (my best based if a jg though)
Im saying echo1's SCAR is a dboy" SCAR. The full metal body is true for about all their AR's, but the scar is plastic for both dboy and echo'1. Also on the real steal.

I'm not saying the saw itself is a bad gun (although it is sorta heavy and bulky) but for its purpose it does its job. i'm just saying that the brand of these guns are cheap chinese clones. low quality externals and internals that are likely to break and lose performance. Airsoft reports actual reviews are well put together and in depth yet the guns they review aren't worth the time and effort.
they have high-quality externals and they have similar internals to the Classic army versions. you do not know what you are talking about so i wouldn't spout off all the crap that you wrote. echo 1 makes one of the best saws out there. its externals are all metal and its interals are very tough. its performance is really good too.
No they really don't. echo1's come with springs that have way too much power for the internals check back with me when you've spent another hundred or two dollars replacing the majority of your gearbox and tell me how good you think they are,just because echo's come stock at 380 fps doesn't mean its good. you wanna talk good guns lets talk systema and highly upgraded ca's and g&g's, there's a reason why my systema batteries by themselves cost more than the majority or echos and a&k's
i didn't say they were the same as CA. i said they were really good copies. CA and G&P are obviously much better than Echo 1, but Echo 1 isn't as bad as you make them out to be. im just saying they are at a good price that most people can afford, with money left over for upgrades. the externals look nice and the internals aren't bad. i got this from an airsoft technician.
echo 1's and A&K are the same(echo 1 copies them and puts a warranty on them) plus they're good and crosman makes some guns worth mentioning. besides there's only one crosman review.

I believe this gun shoots 125 M/S out of the box, so there isn't really any point in adding a M130 spring.

yea the 8.4v battery helps keep the feeding moving. The 9.6v is too fast and due to that the gun misfeeds, jams, and breaks in battle.

It is a support weapon, so it is not intended for any close quarters or rapid movements. It weighs about twice as much as a standard M4 or AK47.

Yes it has. Former team member had the Para, I have the Mk.I.
The inner barrel of the Mk.I was definately longer by the amount of the outer barrel extension. Hope that helps.

Yea there is, because they can rip idiots like you off stupid enough to buy there batteries instead of getting a custom one that is of much better quality and cheaper. And btw echo1/jg/a&k are all great clone companies. Avg to great externals and decent enough internals. All of them will last long enough stock. They are on par with CA internals.... So the one who doesnt know what there talking about is really you.

I'm not saying the saw itself is a bad gun (although it is sorta heavy and bulky) but for its purpose it does its job. i'm just saying that the brand of these guns are cheap chinese clones. low quality externals and internals that are likely to break and lose performance. Airsoft reports actual reviews are well put together and in depth yet the guns they review aren't worth the time and effort.

they have high-quality externals and they have similar internals to the Classic army versions. you do not know what you are talking about so i wouldn't spout off all the crap that you wrote. echo 1 makes one of the best saws out there. its externals are all metal and its interals are very tough. its performance is really good too.

No they really don't. echo1's come with springs that have way too much power for the internals check back with me when you've spent another hundred or two dollars replacing the majority of your gearbox and tell me how good you think they are,just because echo's come stock at 380 fps doesn't mean its good. you wanna talk good guns lets talk systema and highly upgraded ca's and g&g's, there's a reason why my systema batteries by themselves cost more than the majority or echos and a&k's

i didn't say they were the same as CA. i said they were really good copies. CA and G&P are obviously much better than Echo 1, but Echo 1 isn't as bad as you make them out to be. im just saying they are at a good price that most people can afford, with money left over for upgrades. the externals look nice and the internals aren't bad. i got this from an airsoft technician.

echo 1's and A&K are the same(echo 1 copies them and puts a warranty on them) plus they're good and crosman makes some guns worth mentioning. besides there's only one crosman review.

i think classic army has the best saw,although its quite expensive,the echo1 and A&K are decent too,on airsoft gi you get a better deal for its price,STAR also has a really nice looking saw but i'm not sure to much about the quality

used this gun in a MOUT battle that quick spring change is a real good feature my spring broke on the field so i had to fix it under fire so I good lay out some cover fire

When I pull the trigger to my gun and the let go its still shooting and it keeps shooting until like 30 secs and also when I pull the trigger I shoot blanks and I never shoot any bbs can someone help me???

That seems to be very common with the stock SAWs, replace the trigger switch. I had the same problem and I got it fixed that day.
