The press in the US use to protect its independence from government, investigate the government, and report on its independent findings. But for the last 3 years, the press has surrendered its independence and become a pawn of the democrat party. It was just a year ago that the press was reporting that Obama wanted to cut spending, shrink the size of government, get rid of every beauracracy that was not 100% efficient, and reduce the national debt. Was that independent reporting?
