Funny how the same leaders crying that the deficit is going to kill our children also are crying that not extending the tax cuts is going to kill our children. Letting the tax breaks for the top 2% expire could cut the deficit a great deal very quickly.

The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We are spending trillions that we don’t have. This will lead to hyperinflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, a pass because they love his agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn’t work. If you're looking for Republicans lying- here's one. Newt Gingrich saying that "everything Obama has done has made the economy worse." That's a lie and he knows it. Split hairs over rates all you want- but the stimulus created and saved jobs- period. Many police officers- construction workers- state employees- owe their livelihood to that stimulus. The same goes for every small business owner who has those people spending their paychecks in their shops. Gingrich knows this- but doesn't care.

Republicans believe that if you give the rich tax cuts they'll create jobs. The fact is republicans are simply concentrating wealth, reducing demand and increasing debt. There will be no jobs if there is no demand for the products that are produced. I don't care how much money you pay the company they will not hire until there is demand for their products.
