My first introduction to the series was OG1 Ryusei. He's still my favorite character in the series to this day. I love how Ryusei and the R-1 are contradictory to everything at all times but somehow make it work..(The R-1's appearance is basically one big gundam homage, but it has super-like attacks and a super-personality-pilot. And yet Ryusei would never quite fit in anything else.) Also: I love the random shout when he pulls out the Shishioh Blade. "FUCK YES KATANA".
