My favourite JM song ,and i have to say i like this cover, it really captures a small bit of the feeling or soul of John, man I hope he is flying high wherever he be.
Many thanks for this...I knew about this and wondered what it would sound like. The final version will be interesting too. Id be very interested to know how this was recorded too..if done as a 'one man' job a la JM himself (but with added track effects). He's done a fine job of this..departing enough from the original to stop total comparison, and *this* classic of JMs is always going to be difficult to cover, bit like someone covering ECs 'Layla' !. Brill job anyway !
@wangobangodango Rich,Famous,Successful,Popular,Talented ,Intelligent too....What are you? Probably none of the previous??

I wish Robert Smith would do his own tribute album to John Martyn. This song channels everything I love about both artists.
