there is also a new unit called AVerMedia Game Capture HD. This unit can also record HD in 1080i resolution with no lag while you play on your TV. The best thing about it is that you do not need to connect it to a computer.

haha shit thought you played on the little screen m8, almost fealt sorry for you until i read about the y split. i will prob change it out to a hdmi splitter, to record in standard and play in high def, but not tested it yet, should work i think. think standard is good, most of the times i watch high def on youtube you have to wait like ten mins before i can watch it doh. youtube is lagging these days.

Ok I think I'm going to buy a dazzle and I have a 42" LCD SONY Bravia and I play in HDMI and It looks very crappy if you don't play in HDMI so, what do i have to do to play in hdmi and record the gameplay? Please Reply!!!

@sk8ertyko there is no way to play in hdmi and record game play... I am trying to get something new called BlitzBox HD, and that will let you play games in Hi Def, while you are recording. I might link to that video after I get it here.

SO what it seems like is while ur recording u can only use ur little cpu monitor to play on, and then when ur done u can change it to the tv. like when ur playing and recording ur not using the tv.  is this right?

@zitiwalksaw If you have a Y-connector, you can watch your gameplay with sound on your TV as well, but this would require the Dazzle*, Y-connector, SCART, and another Yellow White Red cable. I just bought something called BlitzCast HD recently. I will create a tutorial on how to record your games in HD with this new item, when I get this from my local UPS.

@SfCptFalcon Same concept. You would plug your Dazzle* recorder to the USB on the computer, then plug in your Yellow, White and Red into the Dazzle* from your Wii.

Those scan lines you saw were on the old monitor TVs. We now have LCD and Plasma TVs. Those TVs don't have the scan lines. As you can see in my vid, no lines on either TV. If you can get a good stand, you can get your camera to keep good focus. One of my friends, gamervlogparadise, does this all the time.

Same rules apply to your 360, just plug in your Yellow Red White to the input on your Dazzle*, and use the program to pick up the signal. On of my videos in my profile, Super Stardust HD was made using this tutorial, on my PS3.

If you are using the SCART to record to another device, you can use a Y-connector on your YRW connections to put the image and sound on another TV

Hey man I have a PS3 also with a 32" tv and when I hook mine up without the HDMI cord it records clear but the tv quality is so bad my playing is awful, how can I make my tv a little more clear so I don't play as bad??? Thanks man

Are you using the SCART for PS3 withe the yellow red and white connections? If so, that video quality would be bad, since a recording might be 720×480, and your 32" TV displays at 1920 x 1080.

The SCART (Yellow, red, white) connection uses the lowest resolution. See my Stardusd HD game play video. You can see i'll never get those kind of videos to HD. One day we can plug our HDMI cable into the computer, but I don't know when that will happen.
