Nice, short little March. If you make it longer, and put it in a Rondo form, I would be interested in buying it. If you can make it about 3 minutes long, I would be interested in buying it for about $20 - 35 for a package of one copy of the score, and one copy or each part. Regular scores are like $10, so for just one score, and one copy of each part, I think my price range is fairly acceptable.
Do you want to compose to my film? It's about an Emo-kid in love with an older teacher. Please take a look on the existent music and absorb the style. The royalties will be discussed later. The best soundtrack will win: watch?v=kd_YpQKJPmc&feature=related
Just use the GM Enhanced module, thats realistic enough except the only problem might be (idk if it is for every sibelius cuz maybe its just my copy) that you have to set the reverb every time right after you click play, for me it always turns off after I stop the music. You can try it yourself.
at 0:54 when you have a descending line towards the tonic, it is typically finished with the tonic note. Don't be afraid of covering up entrances; it is the art of covering and uncovering layers in orchestral music that is really astonishing to hear :)
I went straight from Finale Notepad to Sibelius, never tried the full Finale, there's things I like about both though. I hate Notehead input on Sibelius but Finale Notepad didn't even really have noteheads. I also hate how in Sibelius if you try and place a second note at the same time in the music as a current note on the same staff without going to a different channel, it deletes the previous note. Makes full percussion notation with noteheads and all a pain.
Definitely NOT classic. Sounds like a march (like a previous comment said), good otherwise though.

That's not classic, but could be a nice backgroundscore for a jump n run game ;)

It's hardly classical. For one it has saxes.
If anything it's video game tbh.

its good but I think it needs better harmony

It could use some work to be a stand-alone orchestral composition, but this would be fun video game music.

sounds like a casino slot machine or an old school video arcade game. I can almost see a monkey with a cap dancing to this crap.

@xo8jumbalaya8ox hey....Finale is not complicated at all...Try Nuendo or Protools and then you will see complication...lol...

reminds me of zelda music a little, good work

not bad, you could set up kontact player to play it back it would sound more realistic.

I agree with fowlermakesmusic when I say it's not classical, but that does not mean it's a bad piece as he so rudely suggests.
incredibleriot 3 years ago 2
how at all is that classical? just because you used an orchestra preset on sibelius god you should buy logic instead
