  • Definitely NOT classic. Sounds like a march (like a previous comment said), good otherwise though.

  • Nice, short little March. If you make it longer, and put it in a Rondo form, I would be interested in buying it. If you can make it about 3 minutes long, I would be interested in buying it for about $20 - 35 for a package of one copy of the score, and one copy or each part. Regular scores are like $10, so for just one score, and one copy of each part, I think my price range is fairly acceptable.

  • That's not classic, but could be a nice backgroundscore for a jump n run game ;)

  • Do you want to compose to my film? It's about an Emo-kid in love with an older teacher. Please take a look on the existent music and absorb the style. The royalties will be discussed later. The best soundtrack will win: watch?v=kd_YpQKJPmc&feature=related

  • It's hardly classical. For one it has saxes.

If anything it's video game tbh.

  • its good but I think it needs better harmony

  • Just use the GM Enhanced module, thats realistic enough except the only problem might be (idk if it is for every sibelius cuz maybe its just my copy) that you have to set the reverb every time right after you click play, for me it always turns off after I stop the music. You can try it yourself.

  • Check out Ricardo Acosta's sonata for piano and violin, it's awesome!

  • at 0:54 when you have a descending line towards the tonic, it is typically finished with the tonic note. Don't be afraid of covering up entrances; it is the art of covering and uncovering layers in orchestral music that is really astonishing to hear :)

  • It's not classical, but nice try

  • That was a very happy song... I love happy songs!

  • It could use some work to be a stand-alone orchestral composition, but this would be fun video game music.

  • sounds like a casino slot machine or an old school video arcade game. I can almost see a monkey with a cap dancing to this crap.

  • personalmente no me gusta

  • Reminds me of Super Mario Brothers lol

  • repetitive and annoying melody and piss-poor orchestration.

  • I like it... sounds fun

  • sibelius is a difficult program..so complicated..it shouldn't be like that

  • lol try finale...THEN we will talk about programs being complicated

  • I went straight from Finale Notepad to Sibelius, never tried the full Finale, there's things I like about both though. I hate Notehead input on Sibelius but Finale Notepad didn't even really have noteheads. I also hate how in Sibelius if you try and place a second note at the same time in the music as a current note on the same staff without going to a different channel, it deletes the previous note. Makes full percussion notation with noteheads and all a pain.

  • @xo8jumbalaya8ox hey....Finale is not complicated at all...Try Nuendo or Protools and then you will see complication...lol...

  • @xo8jumbalaya8ox Finale isn't complex.

  • kontakt player or MS Synth?

  • It's the kontakt player that came with Sibelius

  • You need to get Sibelius 5 lol its really good. its worth every penny, if you buy it that is lol i got my copy for free. good song though, i like it

  • wow how did you get a free copy???

  • It's a pirated copy. I just downloaded it for free from a but torrent site.

  • i agree with Fowler, sounds more like a march, not bad though.

  • reminds me of zelda music a little, good work

  • not bad, you could set up kontact player to play it back it would sound more realistic.

  • I agree with fowlermakesmusic when I say it's not classical, but that does not mean it's a bad piece as he so rudely suggests.

  • how at all is that classical? just because you used an orchestra preset on sibelius god you should buy logic instead

  • haha great!

  • yea mario brother as well. :b

  • omg dan.. u wrote tht??!!!

  • I don't know why but it somehow reminds me of disney land theme song, lol no offense.

    It sounds great!

  • reminds me more of mario brothers

  • Bowsers castle at beggining!

  • better than i could have done
