Kilian is not better than Sean and Sean is not better than Kilian . Sean's freestyle is very amazing ...all that pogo variations and cool combos . Kilian has a different style he combines freestyle with street . So you can't compare those two people. It's like comparing Tony Hawk and Rodney Mullen.

As for the Killian vs. Sean debate that's been going on here, personally, I enjoy Killian's style more. Contest placement doesn't mean a whole lot to me. Don't get me wrong, Burke is very impressive, I just feel Killian is more fluid and natural. Plus, Sean's hotshot ego (see his "Phoenix of Freestyle" video) is a big turnoff for me... Deflate it a bit, it's just skateboarding.. Just my 2 cents though.

@trickedout45 I guess you could if you constantly do demos and contests but freestyle skateboard demos are not in high demand. Skateboarding will always remain a hobby and fun to me and not a job. When something becomes a job it isn't fun any more.

I don't know if I'm out of line for saying this, but this run would have given Mullen a run for his money, maybe even win against Mullen if this routine was compared to one of his skate runs in the early 90's. Tricks have developed significantly since the 90's so it's not really a fair argument. Great job! I really do think this should have been the winner! I just think a little more flow and smoothness could be improved on is all, that's probably one of the things the judges were looking at too

Dont go overboard & lose context. Joe's run was nearly as sick - had he not missed a trick it would've been a hair split difference between him & Sean. Suzuki's run was also at about that level & Terry had the best run of his career. In 90 Mullen was still way ahead of his time, and even then he played it safe. Others just couldn't skate around that level yet. Mullen then vs. new breed now is like comparing the top race horse from 1900 w/ a car that could finally match its speed decades later.

wow! that was a sick run! some of those tricks were amazing! Never seen before! I think the only thing that needs a little more work is smoothness and flow, if you can add a little more of those elements to your routine, you would without a doubt be the top competitor.

For a while I felt like the freestyle scene wasn't going anywhere aside from a few talented individuals, but this is an exciting time in freestyle. I suppose offense is inevitable, but sorry judges, Sean won this contest. This was one of the best runs of the past 20 years. Gunter was sick, but 20 years ago he had the same run.
