This anime was shit. Pure and utter shit. Hippie psycho-babble complete with pretentious pacifist themes set to a background of awfulness and invulnerable surfing mecha. They pitted them against an armada of warships with only 5 (at the most) of those flying physics-defying abominations to back them up and they wind up victorious every time. Even while suspending disbelief, who could possibly swallow that tripe?

Truly a masterpiece I love every single episode including the end. I never taught that I would like this anime because I don't usually watch mecha, robots etc. But the first episodes really got me hooked.
