  • realy nice

  • how did u join the contest also how did u put the vines like that/ where does it stick to the wall?

  • hey, i'm gonna get a large chinese water dragon cage in a year or two so take a peep at it when the video comes out. but nice setup though.your tempertutes just right for the cage, only the the basking spot should be over 80 degrees, so don't worry about it...its just right. but if someone tells you the basking spot should be 110 don't do it. you'll turn your lizard into a dried sheet of skin and bone.

  • nice setup bud iv just finished 1 my self vid on my youtube page have a peep let me know wot u think

  • cool tank but she won't be in it for long,

theres no way you can keep her in this in a few months,

    she will get to big.

btw. how much did all this cost?

  • how much did all of this cust

  • You should put a reeves turtle or chinese golden threaded turtle in the water =)

  • A lovely cage I love all the exo terra but when your CWD gets old it's just not enough :( and also you should have a big basking light with a temp. of 110F (PowerSun is just amazing.) Hope your CWD is doing well :D

  • looks awesome!...but expensive. lol.

    sick dragon dude.

  • thx to all of you who have enjoyed this video and voted for us on the exo terra website. we came in second place. i will be posting new video soon.

  • how did u seperate land from water?

  • absolutely fabulous set-up! Great job, man. Looks like you've made that water dragon very happy :) & good luck with the contest

  • @Brie651 Thx. she seems very happy.

  • @SC04R1

Yeah she deff looks it :) I voted for you

  • @SC04R1 can you buy that light set up at a petsmart or a petland??

  • The barriers I used to separate the water from land were bought from petsmart. They are actually called "Turtle docks". Made by Zoo Med. I just turned them sideways and placed the suction cups on the bottom of the tank. When you see the docks you will see what I mean. They come in different sizes, I used the small size.

  • what did you use as barriers for the land and water seperation??

  • If you like this video vote for it by going to exo terra website and voting for video number 96. Thx for your vote.

  • my local pet store orderd it for me from Hagen.

  • how did you get the tank caus cant find one

  • You can also use the nightlights during the day to make the tempature 85+ that is also a good setup, What are those things holding up the gravel/rocks. And where did you buy them? Thanks!

  • we paid around $280.

  • How much was that tank?

  • nice job!

  • @OreoSoxFox Thx. ;)

  • Awesome set up! thats exactly what i want mine to look like. Im a little short on funds soo right now i gotta stick it out with just a 20gal regular tank. Id appreciate it if you could give me some pointers. Thanks!

  • @ReptiWu Thx. I think you're doing everything right. Biggest thing is research on the CWDs. As far as the tank set-up, if you want to go with exo terra, I would buy the biggest they make to keep you from having to get another one later. We just bought stuff a little at a time until we got everything we wanted. While we waited we kept "Keylime" in a smaller 10gal tank. We found a local pet store and developed a relationship w/owner and he offered to order the exo terra terrarium to us cheap

  • @SC04R1 yea i see all the terrariums that exo-terra makes and they look pretty nice and yea im gonna get a large tank . So ya i have a question, one of my water dragons is reluctant to eat, idk if hes eating when im not around or what but i havent visually seen him eat in about a week. He seems to be doing good but i was wondering if this was something i should worry about?

  • @ReptiWu When I first got mine she didn't eat for about a week either. Then all of a sudden she started eating a-lot. From what I read and the way she acted, it was prolly just her taking time to get use to the new environment. I wouldn't be too worried, but I would keep an eye on him. Maybe try a different food item. What about the other dragon, it eating?

  • @SC04R1 ok well i mean ive had him a little over 2 weeks now, he seems to still be active and he still has his green color but i mean i just havent seen him eat. My other one is fine, she eats w.e. i put in the tank. Thats what makes me worried about my male water dragon. I was wondering if he possibly eats at night or something but ya idk i guess ill just have to keep an eye on him.

  • @ReptiWu could you tell me how i could go about getting an exo-terra terrarium like urs? my local pet store doesnt have one that size? i tried going to the exo-terra website but i couldnt find out how to purchase one?

  • @ReptiWu each local pet store that deals with exo terra has to order so much stock to keep their account. Our pet store did not have the size we wanted in stock either but he ordered one (from Hagen) for us. I would hesitate from ordering one online because of chance of it being damaged during shipping. If your local pet store will not order one, let me know and I'll try to find a place that will order for you.

  • @SC04R1 Ok yea my local pet store only has the small ones and ive talked to the manager and they dont have any bigger ones in stock so if you could figure out where i could order one or pick one up that would be awesome! and yesss finally! its really kinda wierd, the exact next day after i had asked you that question i went to the pet store and bought these huge crickets and Lex and Lillie ate them up haha it was very relieving to see them eat.

  • @ReptiWu cool. glad to hear they are eating. Mine won't eat big crickets but she will eat superworms. weird. Ok, i'm going out of town, but should be back sunday night. I'll try to find a place for you to get the terrarium and let you know, if you don't hear from me tonight, then it will be sunday.

  • @SC04R1 Thanks i really appreciate it, id rather get the big tank now instead of wait. And wow that is wierd haha the superworms are huge i dont see how they'd eat that but not crickets.

  • @ReptiWu has he started to eat yet?

  • By accident I flagged ssssoooo ssssoooorrrryyyyyy.awesome setup it unbeviable.exo Terra products rule

  • @tjywnable no prob. not to worry, vid is not SPAM. Thx for the comment.

  • Do you have to clean the water.everyday?

  • @Ramosgt3 my CWD takes a "poop" every morning, it's like the first thing she does upon waking, after she does that, I get the poop out, but other than that the water fall has a filter inside it, so I haven't seen the need to clean the water every day. Now, with my mister, it adds quite a bit of water to the terrarium so about once a month I get a large cup and scoop out the water so the level does not get too high. So, in a sense the water is getting changed completely every couple of months.

  • and exo terra fogger or pump i have ever used has never lasted over a year. i buy ultra sonic visible mist humidifiers for ppl n use them , water pumps from garden centers(i have a little giant thats a beast of a pump for years),i even mae my own dome lights with stainless steel bowl and good 3$ cerimic sockets with thick steel incerts that dont come loose or break off and old extension cords or appliance cords,

  • @milldabeast519 If I have any problems maybe I'll get some advice from you on making my own stuff. Have had this set-up almost four months, no issues.

  • @SC04R1 ive been housing reptiles for little over 10 years now used lots of products, had cwds for 9 years breedng on and off

  • exo terra products are absolute garbage very low quality.... nice tank though

  • @milldabeast519 all of my exo terra products have been very easy to install or set- up, have had no issues, and best of all affordable. Thx for watching and comments.

  • @SC04R1 what did u have to setup the mister? how long have u had? the life of exo terra products makes them lowquality. even there light fixtures are made with really cheap sockets. there compact coil bulbs can irratate most reptiles eyes yet they still sell them. cricket feeder? lol really.... a box with egg cartons in it n a hole in the side is just as practical an much cheaper. most there products can be made for less then a a fraction of the price,
