considering the vast majority of the hunt don't actually see the kill, how is it that they are enjoying seeing an animal getting killed? and since they have no involvement in the kill they arent gaining any pleasure from it. and i can tell you now that i personally and most other hunters get no pleasure from the kill itself, the process is what matters, and if you are hunting for sport you do not care if the animal escapes, infact you usually commend it. fox hunting is sport born from necessity.

the red fox is the most numerous carnivore on the planet. and most children see animals that way already, rarely seeing them wild or in person at all. the vast majority of our society is far removed from nature these days, and the few that actually know how it works are being out voted by the ignorant masses.
yes because of hunting there are animals that are extinct, but in comparison to construction and traffic, hunting accounts for very few animal deaths these days.
and im not suggesting that we sort nature out, im saying play by her rules and help fix her, hunting is important, especially where there are very few large predators. there used to be wolves and bears here, yes they were hunted to extinction, but that cant be undone, and shouldn't with today's overpopulation. but since there are no predators now, there are far too many prey and vermin species. which have become pests.
Since I don't take part in hunting on horseback, and rarely watch the hunt, I don't need to take that into consideration, but I'm sure that without any form of mechanical transport, local hunts would gather as they always used to, which was by...erm...riding their horses...
so people travel further now than they used to because of inventions such as cars, that doesn't mean its impossible for a hunt to gather without the use of any cars and horse-boxes. are you that dependent upon your vehicle?

on 13 acres of land near me, a couple of friends shot close to twenty five foxes. in 1 night. foxes do not control there own numbers, the amount of food available dictates it. you have bought into the wishful thinking of every anti website out there. some anti websites even claim that rabbits do not need controlling... going by the same principle that they control there own numbers - before myxy there were over 100 mil rabbits, myxi knocked them down to about 15 mil and now theyre at 50 mil!

considering the vast majority of the hunt don't actually see the kill, how is it that they are enjoying seeing an animal getting killed? and since they have no involvement in the kill they arent gaining any pleasure from it. and i can tell you now that i personally and most other hunters get no pleasure from the kill itself, the process is what matters, and if you are hunting for sport you do not care if the animal escapes, infact you usually commend it. fox hunting is sport born from necessity.

no dumbshit - its being killed because there are too many - also fox hunting is not the only thing affected by the ban. now we can only hunt rabbits and rats with dogs - but we cant hunt deer despite the fact that they do almost as much damage as rabbits (we are talking millions of pound worth). and its not being killed for fun - they enjoy riding out. and only one or two of them will even see the kill - if that. so no its not being killed for fun. people are enjoying the process.

I'm sorry here but your words are twisted, Fox hunting is not pest control, remember foot & mouth, there were no significant rises in fox numbers, foxes control their own numbers through natures hand, I live in a very rural area, no fox hunting takes place here, shooting nor hounds, north of my village is a woods, either side is miles of farmers fields which should be a foxes haven, yet we have absolutely no trouble with them, it sounds like you have bought into a very big lie.

on 13 acres of land near me, a couple of friends shot close to twenty five foxes. in 1 night. foxes do not control there own numbers, the amount of food available dictates it. you have bought into the wishful thinking of every anti website out there. some anti websites even claim that rabbits do not need controlling... going by the same principle that they control there own numbers - before myxy there were over 100 mil rabbits, myxi knocked them down to about 15 mil and now theyre at 50 mil!

have you never seen a hunting dog kill a fox, i have worked with various hunting breeds, and seen how it happens, it is rarely a bite to the throat, it is usually a bite to the back or the back of the neck, and a shake, which kills the fox instantly, there is alot more confusion with hounds than with single dogs, as with so many you cant see what is going on. people like you think that mr fox gets ripped apart, which is the biggest pile of horse testes ever.

its not a right you spastic inbred retard. its a responsibility, you have to take responsibility as your very existance has helped damage and shrink our wildlifes natural environment. hunting is necessary - FACT and the use of dogs should never be forgotton or lost. they have been integral to our growth and success as a species. we owe it to the dogs that we dont allow them to become fat peices of furniture lying around our houses - and we owe it to the fox to keep the species healthy.
