If your dept cant afford to buy brush fire gear, the only things your need areblue jeans, long sleeve cotton shirt, non steal toe leather boots, and a hard hat. Wearing structural gear to a brush fire is asinine!
Holly crap, I hope I never encounter these guys on a real fire, nice cut off shirt dude! and was that a gas mask that guy was wearing, classic, just classic i tell ya!!!
You had to many non fire personel in the fire using equiptment. Around here with our department you have to be with us and fully turned out.

bunker gear is not the right gear for a grass fire at all you need grass/wildland gear proper ppe for grass,brush,wildland fire
