  • Beckett is one of the more substantial figures in the present Labour Party.Essentially a kind ,decent,humorous,down to earth woman.Quite a contrast to say most of the other overpromoted

    feminists who are her colleagues such as Harriet Harman.Beckett is also highly intelligent and has done a proper job(she was a metallurgist).
