  • Awesome Video!

  • why is the liberty farting?

  • Clifford and Snell air horns right?

  • @NYelevators yeah theyre pices of crap. wheelock all the way

  • @whelenvortexr4 ....?

  • @NYelevators wheelock is a fire alarm device manufacture in Long Brand New Jersey. like Clifford, and Snell make devices for Autronica, and other foreign crap. Wheelock is an american made product. Wheelock makes devices 4 alot of alarm contractors

  • @whelenvortexr4 I'm not saying that Wheelock is bad. I actually like Wheelock...a lot. But I think Clifford And Snell did an awesome job with the air horns.

  • @NYelevators i agree but i would of gone with siemens and make them install wheelock

  • @whelenvortexr4 maybe so, but, I still love the Clifford And Snell air horns a lot. They are awesome and insanely loud and awesome.

  • @NYelevators the sound of the ones posted inside the ships awesome, but the outdoors stink

  • @NYelevators I do not believe these air horns are made by Clifford and Snell. The indoor bells are made by Friedland, the electronic speaker Yodalarm series horns are made by Clifford and Snell, and the air horns are probably made by Moflash Signalling in Birmingham. I'm assuming they are made by Moflash since the Friedland bells are also made in England.

  • @ridemaster Whoever makes those air horns, ( Clifford and Snell, Moflash ). Whoever.... they are freaking loud as hell. Love those air horns.

    Awesome Video!

  • @ridemaster No one knows the air horn manufcturer on the freedom ships. The indoor horns AND strobes are made by Clifford & Snell using the Yodalarm YO4 horns and Flashalarm YO4 strobes as well. Friedlnad bells are technically part of burglar alarm systems in England but they are used only on voyager class only. The horns could be Moflash.

  • @JonElevator I've given the horns some thought and I've examined their appearances. I also spoke to Royal Caribbean about this issue. They told me that the horns on the ship are up to the builder's discretion. Given that these ships are built in Scandinavia, I think that these horns are made Kockum Sonics of Sweden, who has a fabulous reputation for producing durable and powerful audible systems. Also, Moflash's horns have a vibrato sound to them, which Kockum horns do not, like you are hearing.

  • @ridemaster I have heard of Kockum Sonics, but I think they only make the ships main horn. I personaly wouldnt talk to royal caribbean about it, they never know. You should contach the possible manufacturers or the shipyard where freedom class was built, STX Europe in Turku, Finland.

  • @JonElevator I do I found one where i could see the back and It had Zollner Makrofon Kiel 88 on the back. Upon investigating it on google i found it to be Made by Zollner and ar the Makrofon M75F/370.1 UIC Horns.

  • @JonElevator Zollner Makes the ones that sound like sport air horns they are the Makrofon M75F/370.1 UIC

  • @whelenvortexr4 Wait, Siemens would make a marine alarm system??

  • @JonElevator I wished

  • Sounds like a REALLY bad high school band.

  • @chrisz71 so, all of them...

  • thats a scary horn

  • @Shipsgaloregirl5 I know it's like a war starting. the freedom is even worse. Since it's in the liberty's class, it sounds the same except it louder and weirder

  • @bobburke1964 Two things. Number one Freedom and Liberty both sound the same because they use the same type of alarms and air horns. And two it sounds freaking awesome. What do you mean it's worse. It's so cool and awesome.

  • @NYelevators yeah i probably worded that wrong. let me rephrase that. The Freedom is even louder. i too love cruise ships especially RCCL. I also love the sounds of the horns and alarms.

  • @Shipsgaloregirl5 ...I would say "heavily bass-looking".

That's a very loud horn, when really close to this giant!

  • Those Horns are Really Loud

  • Liberty of the seas uses air horns as the exterior alarm. I've seen them. They are similar to the ones a coach would use for sports

  • Theres about 20 of them

  • I think the general alarm should be a little longer in time by slowing the tones speed .

  • 7 short 1 long blast

  • I Like the sound of the alarms
