ilorious 49145 yesh i can cuz i have four to three in my life time and recently have a ferret. guniea r from south america. and they need to be play with from time to time. clean ther cage like almost everyday. and make sure that it is safe away from an air vent!!!! trust me i have expericne with that also wash ur hands before pickin one up cuz if they smell food on ur hand they will bite and it will hurt and u might even have to get a shot to keep u from gettin rabee's.

1st, if you read on the care of guinea pigs, they should not be put in balls. It damages thier backs and causes them pain. This is from a guniea pig owner.

Unlike members of the rodent family (Guinea pigs are not rodentia), their spines aren't designed to take that kind of stress, that an exercise ball places upon it, unlike a hamster or rat, whose spines are far more flexible.

In short, get the guinea pig out of the ball, or we will find you.

Thanks to all of you who pointed out that guinea pigs shouldn't be put in those plastic balls because it is bad for their backs. I actually do read the comments, especially soon after posting a video, and we haven't put Mikey in a ball since then.

Although your Guinea pig is safe, I don't think that the experience was at all fun for him. Too, even if pet shops sell this type of Hamster balls for Guinea pig as well, this is wrong. Guinea pigs aren't supposed to use balls or wheels because of their spinal structure; in plastic balls or wheels,however big,the spine bends and it is not supposed to do that.
