So, all things considered, is this a reasonably easy boss to solo? And exactly how geared would I need to be to do it?

@401asdf If you can solo the rest of the instance, you can solo KJ. I can't tell you how much gear you'd need to solo these guy sthough.

@Itzaic Ok, shouldn't be a problem then. I was just making sure I didn't need to be heroic firelands geared or anything, because I wouldn't come anywhere close to that.

I'm using my pet's intervene to absorb the damage, you have to kill the shadow orbs or outrange them to prevent the buff from falling though. And I raptor striked the darkness attack when it wasn't off cooldown.

Impressive! I see you soloed Muru and Twins but how about Brutallus and Felmyst?

Yep, there were already videos of the kills on youtube so I chose not to record those. Brutallus you just have to rotate pet cooldowns for stomps, and Felmyst you'll have to find time during air phases to bandage yourself.
