I actually prefer this one over the first. I felt as though William Ragsdale and Kristy Swanson had much better chemistry than Andrewy McCarthy and Kim Cattral. Also, this one seemed in a lack of better words, "sweeter." Also, Hollywood was alot funnier IMO.

So basically, you had to experience the real 80s, especially the 1982-'87 time, to know why 1991 wasn't the 80s. Otherwise it likely won't make sense to you. And as I said before, those of us born in the 70s were often guilty, very guilty, of confusing the early 80s with the 70s back when we were the annoying punk kids...and I remember people older then us being pissed at us too for saying 1980 looked 70ish.

Well I was there, 1991 was not the 80s, but trying to explain that to kids who were either way too young, just being born or not alive is an almost hopeless cause. If you lived through the real 80s, you knew that 1991 was not the 80s. But if a kid from today looks at pictures of 1991 and goes through some of the music, he's more then likely going to say "dude that's the 80s! My moms grew up then!" Those of us born in the 1970s often got the early 80s confused with the 70s.

Ummm no. 1991 means just that. It's technically the "90's" I think you need to learn the definition of technically. Then learn to count. Culturally 1991 was already past the 80's. Nirvana and Grunge were firmly implanted. Big hair, and hair bands were way out, and all of the GM and Ford cars were getting a slick makeover. I think you need to reread you're pop culture history book a little more.
