The animation was done, I believe, right in Poser which is what the models are made in.

There is no war per se going on in the Frontiers universe. There are quite a few ships in this video, from various plot elements of our forthcoming third season. Thanks for posting!

Glad you liked it. The first song you hear is actually from a WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) production track CD. The lyrical song is called "So Far Away", by Staind. The ending song with the choir singing is a track from the score to the film "Gods and Generals".

We don't produce our episodes. Frontiers is a script-based series, which means we write the scripts and post them for people to read. Often we have vids like this to go along with the scripts, and I do hope to produce a CG Frontiers movie some day. In the meantime, I have a new series in development that will have several short CG films in the run-up to its launch. Thanks for commenting on tihs and the other vid.

The thing I like the most about Star Trek is the ships, especially Federation ships and it's very refreshing to see new designs you put forth for them. Are they explained in more detail in your website?

Thanks for commenting. The ships do have a bit more explanation on our website. We are about to release a special feature on our message board that gives detailed schematics of almost every ship you see in this video. That will begin releasing next week.
