dude....GoW is pacman compared to GTA IV. You don't really know how video games work huh?

Think of it this way, the levels in GoW are perhaps a few city blocks at the most. That means the game has to load a relatively small number of objects/textures. GTA IV has to load about 9 SQUARE MILES worth of objects/textures and keep track of them all at the same time, as well as countless pedestrians and ped. vehicle AI! Running a living, breathing city with NO LOAD TIMES requires a lot!

I agree! When I'm just screwing around I like to blow cars up until I get the cops after me and I just try to run from them blowing them up until I'm at 5 or 6 stars. You can escape 1 or 2 stars without even trying.
