  • I think movits! could make a really good album for a movie. This song for some reason makes me wanna watch an action movie car chase.

  • the drummer to the left is my cousin ! woo

  • you search "swedish rap" and you find this. lmao

  • @acciolight I'd listen to more rap if it was more like this.

  • Fucking Dope!!!

  • påminner om Basketcase introt? hursomhaver mycket bra!

  • Tack så mycket for this! I'm learning Swedish at the moment, so it's good to get an understanding of what the hell Movits are singing about!

    Great song too

  • It is a bit sad if this the official translation because it has some grammatical errors. I think Swedes think that they are better in English than they actually are. We are good, and we can make ourselves understood, but for most of us, our command of English is not perfect. But maybe we speak English better than we write.

  • I adore the dancers! Does anyone know what the dance style is called?

  • @CheshireSloth It's called Swing Dance -- from Swing jazz music. It's fun! Look up Frankie Manning for more information.

  • mmmh det är bra med lyrics på engelska, dock så stavas det oldschool inte oldskool ^^

  • i need to learn how to dance like that

  • Wrong to translate Movits! lyrics, they use a lot of political and swedish references that can't be translated. Their political and funny references that we swedes can relate too is a HUGE part of why their songs has been so famous here in Sweden, they also use a lot of old swedish manner of speech which no one from US or UK will understand. in my opinion the listeners abroad get the wrong view of them by these poor translations. others songs then this fit better into my critics though. cheers

  • @bamse12345678 I get that non-Swedes won't get alot of the nuance and specific cultural phrases, but we love the music so much that even getting a basic understanding of what the song is about is really awesome for us.

Be happy that you get a special relationship with their music that we just won't get. I'm happy to take what I can get though!! I love Movits!

  • @bamse12345678 you realize that this is movits! own translation and not my work? this english lyrics can be found on the official movits! website. and to me you sound like a bitter man that want to keep movits! "to yourself", you wanna feel special that you can understand movits and other people who dont know swedish cant.i started out with "spela mig på radion" because so many non-swedish wanted to know the lyrics and the video got much appreciation så i have made 2 more videos.

  • @pad239 this is a effort to try to spread movits to more people because they are awesome. and i'm pretty sure that most people understand thet they can never fully understand the meaning of the lyrics without being swedish or at least live i sweden, but as jesikahlauren said many people is happy for just a basic understanding. so i think you are more wrong than me, you want to deny other people some understanding of the lyrics,

  • @pad239 i try to spread movits to more people, and give them a hint of what the lyrics are about

  • @pad239 and it´s appreciated! As you said, we´re glad to be able to understand at least the basics, cause Movits really are awesome.

  • @pad239 tell em say! I love your videos coz i love the movits! And it feels so cool knowing what they are talking about. Your translation of Spela mig pa radion is still my favorite vid on the tube! Thank you for your work and keep em coming... us movits! fans appreciate your work immensely. Thank you!

  • @bamse12345678 I really gotta look down at you for this comment. I mean I could say you misinterpret a lot of things because you don't live in America. But whatever, the point it it's good music, enjoy it. If you missed that then you should think about how you view music.

I've been listening to Movits! for nearly two years without understanding much of a word of it, BUT I can feel the music and I enjoy it, I'm thankful for the translation even if it isn't exact or clear.

  • I had a dream about Movits! last night. I took them to see a midnight screening of Rocky Horror, but there was hardly anyone there and it was boring. No one dressed up or throwing toast. I was embarrassed.

  • I'M AWESOME BUT THIS IS MORE AWESOME ! :D

  • That was freaken awesome man. It's awesome to finally understand them. lol Will you do more?

  • It kind of bothers me that the translation is really sloppy.

  • Agreed! The show in Bloomington IN at the Lotus Festival was unreal. They put on an extremely good show, and really got the crowd moving like nothing I've seen for years. Very excited to see how this band becomes more successful, because they are AWESOME. They're great live, too!!! GO SEE THEM!

  • @Kelbert20 I was there :D

  • Just saw these guys at the Lotus World Music Festival in Bloomington, Indiana last night. The crowd was huge and loved them. The crowd will be even bigger tonight once word gets out. These guys are the best thing to come out of Sweden since Absolut and Anita Eckberg.

  • Lol, baby you ain't no 'oldskool' I ever heard, but HOT AS HELL? OH YEAH.

  • Genius!!!

  • I fucking love movits.
