OOOOH MAAAN I finally found it, I wasn't sure if it was SoF1 but yep, it was, the game I played when I was like 12 or 14 and amazed me. This game is an epic piece of awesomeness. I remember the final boss had a kind of electric or plasma weapon, and I killed him. This game is awesome.

I have a problem with this game. I can't seem to enable the bump mapping mode (s3tc) on my geforce 6200 card. Bump mapping makes the walls look a lot better. Can anyone help ?

are there any other games out there where you can shoot the limbs or head and they fall off if you use the powerful enough weapon (except SOF,Dead space and Fallout 3)? I mean Call Of Duty says it's realistic but it isn't(except for WAW).Because realistic means=Dismembered limbs,Severed heads,screaming,grenades fuc*ing the bodies...

See? This game is from fucking 2000. And you could shoot your opponent in 26 different parts of the body with different effects depending on the weapon.

It also had frigging LEAN.

Now we are in 2011 and we don't have any of those things because now games are pieces of shit made for fucking kids that play first person shooters on their consoles with a damn pad.

Look at fallout 3 and fallout new vegas. look at the newest soldier of fortune: payback(not the one for xbox360 or ps3.. the one for PC).. look at Call of Duty: World at War. Don't make an assumption about new games, until you've done more research turd breath.

@MrSuspiciousPerson He is not talking about gore in general. He specifically mentioned the ability to shoot off practically every part of the body. Also, SoF Payback is a pretty bad game and the gore in New Vegas isn't really graphically disturbing. However a game like Dead Space 2 does give the player the ability to shoot off limbs and stuff and is pretty gory alright ^^

@Aofex I was about to write a reply, but when I read yours I realized that you already said what I wanted to say. Yep. Just see Doom3 - sure the graphics were awesome, but what the fuck. Enemies are like plastic dolls - they get no wounds and evaporate in few seconds. Consoles and kids are the reason why we - good old PC veterans have to suffer for their fuckups.

Hilariously, I think the animations in this game are better than MW3s.

off of that game though, SoF looks...fun. Really, just blowing through guys and watching as their legs take to the air looks like a blast. How well does this run on Win. 7?

Try putting this in your sof folder sof1.megalag.org/sofplus/ref_g­l_fixed.zip and tell me if it fixed problem. Also next time you're looking for help leave more info - like what OS/graphic card you've got.

This game still kick asses, because all modern war games have an HUMONGUOUS mistake: modern war games are funny only for gore stuffs...

COD, BF, each of those say that they do real-like things, but there is only regression from soldier of fortune... less dismembering, less blood, less organs, less bullets impacts, everything new funny realist stuffs that SOF bring has been removed to improve sells to weird kids, and all those games are still not for sale to under 18 yo... SOF was great in its day. I'd go as far as saying its one of the best FPS games I"ve ever played. I had hours of fun playing it online. The only thing that let this game down was its rather simplistic AI.
